American celebrity Omarosa Manigault was born on 15 February 1974, in Youngstown, Ohio, to an American mother and father from Nigeria, and after a rather checkered career, is currently becoming even better known publicly, as she is the director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison for President Trump’s administration. She has previously been seen frequently on reality TV shows too.

So just how rich is Omarosa Manigault, as of early 2017? Authoritative sources estimate that Omarosa’s net worth is now over $4 million, accumulated largely from her involvement in politics, and appearances on reality TV shows during a career which began in the mid-1990s.

Omarosa Net Worth $4 Million

Omarosa studied at The Rayen School, and later attended Central State University, from where she graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. Later Manigault decided to move to Washington, so she could study at Howard University, but didn’t complete her PhD.

In the 1990s, Omarosa worked on Vice-President Al Gore’s staff in the White House during the Clinton Administration, although her actual duties are indeterminate, and she wasn’t employed for very long. She came to public notice during her participation in the reality show “The Apprentice”, which was aired on NBC. The show was popular as entertainment, with many participants being regarded as actors, despite the ‘reality’ tag of the show, and Omarosa as the villain, but working with the star of the show, Donald Trump. However, in the spin-off from the series – “Celebrity Apprentice” – she was fired by Trump with a number of disparaging remarks. Omarosa also appeared in the “Battle of the Network Reality Stars”, “The Great Debate” and “The Surreal Life”, and these are the main reasons why Omarosa’s net worth is quite high.

In particular, in 2010 Omarosa collaborated again with Donald Trump on the dating show “The Ultimate Merger” on TV One, as one of the contestants, which included R&B singer and producer Al B. Sure! as another contestant. Later she appeared on another Trump program in 2013 – “Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars” – but was again fired by him. Her latest appointment is therefore perhaps surprising, working for now President Trump having begun with his campaign team, and now, officially, Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison. Apparently her conversion from Democrat to Republican is complete.

In her less-than-private personal life, however, in 2000 Omarosa married Aaron Stallworth and changed her surname to Manigault-Stallworth, but they divorced in 2005. In 2012 she drew public attention to herself by being involved as a suspect in the death of her fiancé, Michael Clarke Duncan, who died after apparently suffering a heart attack. This event also involved American actress and TV personality La Toya Jackson leading to cross-litigation, and is one more reason why today Omarosa Manigault is still something of a household name.
