Milan Allen is the first child of the late American rapper and singer PnB Rock, whose tragic death in 2019 left many fans and loved ones in distress. Early Years, Family, and Education

Milan Allen was born on 22 October 2013, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While some sources asserted that the late rapper Chynna Brown was her mother, PnB rarely delved into details about Milan’s biological mother. Therefore, this claim should be approached with caution. Chynna passed away from a drug overdose in 2020, but tributes to her never indicated that she was Milan’s mother.

PnB Rock would occasionally share photos of Milan on his official social media pages, but maintained a reserved stance concerning specific details about her. At the time of PnB’s passing, the prevailing belief was that Milan was under his care, alongside his girlfriend at the time, Stephanie Sibounheuang. Through glimpses provided on social media, fans speculated that Stephanie played the role of stepmother to Milan, and also welcomed her younger sister, Xuri Li, born on 27 March 2020.

Given Milan’s father’s protective nature regarding her privacy, no information regarding her education was disclosed on his social media platforms. Fans haven’t forgotten the time in 2016, when PnB Rock and Milan fell victim to a prank orchestrated by social media influencer QueenZFlip. The prankster played the role of an Uber taxi driver during the father-daughter journey to another location. During the ride, QueenZFlip began acting erratically, yelling after seemingly being triggered by music on the radio. To escalate the prank, he grabbed Milan’s stuffed toy and tossed it onto the dashboard.

As a result, Milan, frightened by the taxi driver’s erratic behavior, started crying. Once out of the car and with Milan safely handed to a friend, PnB Rock was ready to confront QueenZFlip physically. Onlookers urged him to calm down, emphasizing that it was just a prank. It took some time before PnB Rock’s anger subsided, so no physical altercation ensued. The recorded incident, capturing the entire prank, showcased PnB Rock’s initial heated reaction, emphasizing the boundary between harmless pranks and genuine concern for his daughter’s well-being. The video can still be viewed on YouTube.

Get to know Milan’s father, PnB Rock

PnB Rock, born Rakim Hasheem Allen on 9 December 1991, in the Germantown neighborhood in the Northwestern part of Philadelphia, led a life marked by challenges and resilience. Growing up in a rough part of town, he faced adversity early on, losing his father at the tender age of three. Financial constraints forced him to halt his education, and at one point, he found himself homeless.

In and Out of Jail as a Juvenile

Lacking both social and economic support, PnB Rock, experienced a tumultuous period of being in and out of jail during his juvenile years. Recounting these times, he acknowledged engaging in what he referred to as “kiddie stuff,” encompassing petty crimes such as robberies and school fights. The gravity of his situation struck him when he received a two-and-a-half-year sentence, realizing he was now being tried in court as an adult. Charges shifted from juvenile misdemeanors to drug possession and other offenses viewed more seriously by the court.

Making Music While Incarcerated

During his time behind bars, PnB Rock discovered a group of fellow inmates who shared a passion for creating music, immersing himself in this newfound world. Reflecting on his journey, he recalled being introduced to beat-making during his upbringing, utilizing the equipment owned by his mother’s then-boyfriend. With ample time on his hands in jail, PnB Rock dedicated himself to honing his musical and rapping skills, which was highly inspired by his mother’s collection of music from artists such as Jay Z, 2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G. and Temptations.

Each stint in solitary confinement or the ‘hole’ served as a creative sanctuary for him to craft beats and verses. In an interview with Rolling Stone, he shared insights into the profound impact of his music resonating within the prison walls, acknowledging its potential profitability. The notoriously tough crowd inside the prison, characterized by their harsh judgment, responded positively to PnB Rock’s music—a testament to its authenticity and broad appeal.

PnB’s determination to channel his energy into music during challenging times not only showcased his resilience but also laid the foundation for the musical success that would follow beyond the prison walls.

Started Sharing His Music Through MySpace

In an era in which upcoming independent artists lacked the tools provided by platforms such as SoundCloud and Apple Music, PnB Rock turned to MySpace, a prominent social media site at the time, to share his music online. Creating original beats, verses, and remixes, he showcased his talent on his profile page. The breakthrough came when other MySpace account owners began using his songs as background music for their profiles, signaling that PnB Rock was onto something significant.

Debut Mixtape Released

PnB Rock’s transformative journey from adversity to musical success is a testament to the resilience and determination that shaped his unique path. The stage name, PnB Rock, pays homage to his roots, specifically the street corner at Pastorius and Baynton in Philadelphia, where he spent his formative years. In 2014, Milan’s father made his mark on the music scene with the debut mixtape, “Real N*gga Bangaz,” a compilation of tracks crafted during his time behind bars.

Being a relatively well-known figure in his hometown, the release of the mixtape was highly anticipated. However, the budding rapper faced the challenge of self-promotion, personally distributing copies. While the mixtape sold well, the profits were offset by the cost of gas, highlighting the initial hurdles PnB Rock encountered in his pursuit of success.

Billboard Chart Hits

Subsequently, the young rapper secured a contract with Atlantic Records, paving the way for the release of more mixtapes featuring tracks that earned spots on the coveted Billboard Charts. His breakout single, “Selfish,” claimed the 51st position on the US Billboard Hot 100, firmly establishing him as a rising artist. PnB Rock’s success continued with the soundtrack contribution for “Fate of the Furious,” a collaboration with Wiz Khalifa.

Venturing into the realm of studio albums, PnB Rock delivered “Catch These Vibes” in 2017, and “TrapStar Turnt PopStar” in 2019. The latter achieved significant success, reaching the top five on the Billboard 200 chart. PnB Rock’s influence expanded further with his contribution to XXXTentacion’s hit, “Changes,” solidifying his prominent position in the dynamic landscape of the music industry.

His Share of Controversies and Feuds

While PnB Rock basked in the glory of musical success, his life wasn’t devoid of controversies. In January 2019, he and his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang, faced legal troubles when arrested by the police for possession of marijuana with intent to sell. Complaints from neighbors in an upscale apartment about loud parties and the strong smell of marijuana led to their detainment, but they were eventually released on bail.

Additionally, PnB Rock’s social media comments on the death of rapper Juice WRLD in 2019 garnered criticism. Furthermore, a feud with fellow rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie unfolded in 2017.

Tragedy Strikes – PnB Rock’s Untimely Passing

In September 2022, tragedy struck when PnB Rock was robbed and fatally attacked during a meal with his girlfriend at a South Los Angeles restaurant. Succumbing to his injuries, he left behind a legacy in the music industry, prompting an outpouring of tributes from fans and colleagues. However, some individuals pointed fingers at the girlfriend, alleging that her Instagram post, detailing their location in real-time at Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘N Waffles, might have played a role in the tragic incident.

Expressing concern, Nicki Minaj reminded fellow rappers to exercise caution in sharing their locations online, especially after the untimely death of Pop Smoke. Despite doubts about the killer following Stephanie’s account, Nicki emphasized the potential dangers associated with publicly posting real-time locations. Unfortunately, this scenario isn’t unprecedented, as other rappers have fallen victim to public attacks due to the revelation of their whereabouts through shared real-time locations.

The Los Angeles Police disclosed that three assailants targeted the restaurant after learning of PnB’s location through a social media post. Some believed that the post was made by his girlfriend – Stephanie’s post has since been deleted.

Meet Milan’s Mother

If it holds true that Milan’s mother was indeed Chynna Brown Rogers, as some entertainment and gossip sites have claimed, the 10-year-old girl is now an orphan. Chynna began her journey as a former Ford model at the young age of 14, eventually transitioning into the music scene with aspirations for an A&R position. However, her remarkable skills and talent led her down a different path. Initially mentored by A$AP Yams and later embraced by A$AP Mob, Chynna released tracks such as “Selfie” in 2013, and followed up with “Glen Coco” in 2014, marking her entry into the hip-hop scene.

In 2015 and ‘16, Chynna released a couple of EPs, garnering moderate success and slowly gaining recognition from the mainstream hip-hop audience. However, as she continued to find opportunities in the music industry, she grappled with opioid addiction. Initially known only to close friends and loved ones, Chynna later chose to publicly share her struggles. Her music became a powerful outlet for conveying her challenges, exemplified in her 2016 mixtape, “Ninety.” At times, she openly admitted the need to take substances to perform on stage, expressing her discontent with the situation she found herself in. She tried many times to stay sober, but it didn’t last long enough for her to fully take control of her life.

Four months after the release of her final EP, “In Case I Die First,” reports surfaced in April 2020 announcing her tragic passing at home. Initially shrouded in mystery, her family later revealed it was due to an accidental drug overdose; Chynna was just 25 years old.

While PnB Rock seldom talked about Milan’s biological mother, in a rare January 2022 interview with Charlie Cooper, he offered a brief glimpse into their relationship, revealing that a devastating breakup with his baby mama led to a period of writer’s block. Locked into each other’s lives to the point of losing focus on individual careers, he proposed a temporary separation, hoping to revisit their connection when both were in a better place emotionally and career-wise. Unfortunately, as became apparent, it didn’t turn out that way……

Milan’s ‘Stepmother’ and half-sister update

Presently, obtaining updates on Milan’s well-being is challenging. Stephanie, often referred to as Milan’s “stepmother,” maintains an Instagram account in which she does not explicitly disclose who is currently taking care of Milan. In a poignant post in June 2023, Stephanie expressed her ability to cope with personal heartbreak, but emphasized the pain of witnessing the same in her children, a situation for which she felt powerless to provide a solution. Accompanying the post were video clips featuring all of them together, revealing a glimpse into their shared moments. Stephanie concluded with a prayer not to be discouraged in moving forward.

Appearance

Unfortunately, there are no recent photos available to the public that showcase how the 10-year-old Milan currently looks.

Net Worth

Determining Milan Allen’s net worth is an impossibility at this juncture, as she’s still a child. Fans speculated that with her father’s estimated net worth of $3 million at the time of his passing, she would be adequately cared for. However, Stephanie, PnB Rock’s girlfriend, disclosed that as a couple, they, hadn’t planned for the future, including life insurance or any last will and testament, given their youthfulness. She didn’t delve into specifics or clarify whether the children received any assets. The financial aspect remains a matter of uncertainty and speculation, as the details of PnB Rock’s estate and provisions for his children have not been publicly disclosed.
