Ines grew up with two brothers, and like them would often be involved in sporting events. She became a tomboy, and her love for sports turned later to sports journalism. However, growing up she also became a model, as her mother desired her daughter to be more feminine. This eventually resulted in Ines doing commercials for Bacardi, Telcel, and Hoteles Mision, among others.

Regarding her education, after finishing high school, Ines enrolled at the Universidad del Valle de Mexico, from which she obtained a Licenciatura en derecho (“bachelor in law”). She furthered her studies at the Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro from which she received a masters degree in tax law. Due to her love for sports, she also achieved a graduate degree in sports business administration.

Ines came to prominence as early as 2002, when she covered Super Bowl XXXVI, and since then has worked on a number of prestigious sporting events, including NBA Finals, Champions League tournaments, the 2004 Athens Olympics, and the 2006 World Cup among others, all of which helped increase her net worth.

Ines has also been known for obtaining interviews with various sports stars, including tennis players Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, basketballers Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant, and soccer players Roberto Carlos, Zinedine Zidane, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Rivaldo, and others. She has also succeeded in interviewing Terrell Owens during his media silence in 2008, being the only journalist to speak with the wide receiver. Back in 2007, she became the Queen of Super Bowl Media Day, and was as much photographed as Payton Manning.

She has also worked for the boxing promotion company Top Rank; in 2010 she was appointed as a reporter for the Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito World Super Welterweight Championship match, conducting pre-event reports and ringside commentary, while the following year she was co-host broadcaster for the fight between Miguel Cotto and Ricardo Mayorga.

Most recently, Ines was named as the host of the Netflix’ reality show “Ultimate Beastmaster”, which only further increased her net worth.

When it comes to her personal life, Ines has been married to television producer Hector Perez Rojano since 1998; the couple has four children together. Ines has remained true to sports, as she plays football, basketball, and tennis as well, whenever the time let her.

Back in 2010, she was involved in a controversy that made her the most popular journalist in Mexico and Latin America; she was on the sidelines during one of the NY Jets games and once the match was finished, the players started throwing footballs in her direction. Being a reporter, she entered the locker room and waited for NY Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez for an interview.

Once he and the rest of the squad entered the locker room, they acted rudely towards Ines, making catcalls and commenting on her looks, which eventually resulted in a personal apology from owner Woody Johnson.
