Haze grew up in LA along with his younger brother, and two half-siblings from his father’s first marriage to Samantha Lewes, one of them being actor Colin Hanks. He attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, graduating in 2013 with a degree in Theater.
A son of an acclaimed, award winning couple of actors/producers, Haze made his foray into acting in 2007, landing the role of Dexter in the musical teen comedy film “Bratz”. The following year he played a student in the action adventure film “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” alongside Harrison Ford, paving his way to recognition in the acting world. He then starred in the short film “Shocktrooper” in 2008, and two years later landed a starring role in another short film, “If I Can’t Have You”. All contributed to establishing his net worth.
In 2011 Haze had a minor role of a pizza delivery boy in his father’s comedy film “Larry Crowne”, and a year later he appeared in the comedy film “Project X”, and then played Jimmy Grimm in the 2015 teen superhero film “Fantastic Four”, further improving his wealth and reinforcing his popularity.
Hanks expanded his acting resume with involvement in several television gigs, such as landing the recurring role of Trey in the comedy television series “Maron” in 2016. The same year he had the recurring role as Charlie in the comedy/drama series “Shameless”, further increasing his wealth.
However, Haze has also been involved in music. An aspiring rapper, he released his debut rap song entitled “White & Purple” in 2011, a remix of Wiz Khalifa’s “Black & Yellow” and refers to Haze’s alma mater -Northwestern University’s school colors. Although it failed to get positive reviews by critics, the song did get a decent airplay on the college circuit, bringing Haze significant popularity.
He later took voice lessons, and then opened his own management/entertainment company called Kinetik Group.
When it comes to his off-camera life, it has been widely publicized, mainly due to Haze’s ongoing struggle with drugs. Whereas Tom Hanks has been one of the most beloved celebrities, and Colin Hanks has followed his father’s steps in every way, Haze unfortunately hasn’t gone in that direction. He has been involved in substance abuse and has been in and out of rehab since his teenage years. Reportedly, one of those drug-fueled nights resulted in a baby with a girl named Tiffany, who has full custody of the child. Haze has recently stated that he has been sober for over a year.
Speaking about his love life, he has reportedly dated Bella Cheveux and Hazel E., but sources are not familiar with his current relationship status.
