Early life, family, and education

Rachael Ann MacFarlane was born under the zodiac sign of Aries, on 21 March 1976, in Kent, Connecticut USA, thus she holds American nationality, and comes from a family of Irish, English and Scottish descent.

Rachael was raised by her parents Ann Perry Sager and Ronald Milton MacFarlane, alongside her brother, Seth, an actor and filmmaker, the creator of “Family Guy” and “The Orville”, and co-creator of the animated series “American Dad!” in which he stars with his sister.

Also in 2002, she was heard as Girl #1 in “The Powerpuff Girls”, as Nina Crocker in “Static Shock”, and as Enid Quintara in “Fillmore!” (2002-2004). From 2002 through 2007, Rachael was voicing the character of Mindy in “The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy”. Concurrently, she was heard as Numbuh 362 in “Codename: Kids Next Door” (2003-2007).

As mentioned, since 2005, Rachael has been voicing the character of Hayley Smith in “American Dad!”, and concurrently she’s had numerous other voice roles. From 2016 through 2018, Rachael was voicing Cordelia in “Sofia the First”, about a little girl who becomes royalty after her mother marries the king, and which had 24 award nominations, including two Primetime Emmys, and won 11.

Concurrently, Rachael was heard as Computer in “The Orville” (2017-2019), and as Odalia Bright in “The Owl House” (2020-2022). Most recently, Rachael was heard as Joanna in the 2022 series “Beavis and Butt-Head”, a comedy animation about the iconic duo of ‘90s pop culture.
