Who is Lola Glaudini?
Lola was born in Manhattan, New York City USA, on 24 November 1971 – her zodiac sign is Sagittarius, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress and film producer, with more than 60 acting credits to her name, probably known best for her portrayal of Elle Greenaway in the mystery crime series “Criminal Minds”, created by Jeff Davis, and which starred Matthew Gray Gubler and Kirsten Vangsness. It follows several people working for the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit, the series aired from 2005 to 2020, and won 23 of the 61 award for which it was nominated, including three Primetime Emmy nominations.
Lola was a member of the main cast in 2005 and 2006, however, she then left because she was unhappy living in Los Angeles, California, and thus moved back to the East Coast; she only returned to the series in 2020, making a guest appearance in the episode “And in the End”.

Lola was raised in Manhattan by her father of Italian descent Robert Glaudini, and her Jewish American mother Nina Diane Rosen (nee Kapler); her father was an actor, movie director and playwright, and her mother a college professor. Because Lola hasn’t mentioned having any siblings, her fans believe her to be an only child.
Lola became interested in acting while attending a local high school in New York City, and she appeared in many plays performed at the school, as well as several performed at a local theatre. Upon matriculating in 1990, she enrolled at Bard College, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1994.

Lola made her debut film appearance in the 1996 drama “Without a Map”, while a couple of her following roles were in the 1998 romantic comedy drama “Your Friends and Neighbors”, the musical drama “Groove” and the romantic comedy drama “Down to You”, both in 2000.
She gained recognition in 2001, with her portrayal of Rada in the biographical crime drama “Blow”, directed by Ted Demme, and which starred Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz and Franka Potente. The movie follows the life of George Jung, who was a member of the Medellin drug cartel in the ‘70s, and it won three of the 12 awards for which it was nominated. A couple of Lola’s other notable performances in the decade were in the 2003 action thriller “Consequence”, the 2004 comedy “Taste”, and the 2007 horror comedy “Drive Thru”.
The year 2014 saw her play Female Boss Sharon in the critically acclaimed romantic comedy “That Awkward Moment”, written and directed by Tom Gormican, and which starred Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller. It tells the story of three best friends who don’t know what to do in their relationships – the movie won one of the three awards for which it was nominated.

Three of Lola’s most recent film roles have been in the 2017 short drama “Full In”, the 2020 comedy drama “She’s in Portland” and the 2022 short animated comedy “Hardboiled”.
Roles in TV series
Lola made her debut TV series appearance in the 1997 episode “The Devil’s Rainbow” of the science fiction drama “The Visitor”, and between 1996 and 1999, she played Dolores Mayo in the mystery crime drama “NYPD Blue”, created by Steven Bochco and David Milch, and which starred Dennis Franz, Gordon Clapp and Jimmy Smits. It follows the work of New York Police Department’s 15th Precinct, the series aired from 1993 to 2005, and won 108 awards, including 20 Primetime Emmys, while it was nominated for 203 other awards.
The 2000s saw Lola appear in an episode or two of various series, such as the science fiction action comedy “Good vs Evil”, the action western “The Magnificent Seven”, and the action thriller “Secret Agent Man”, however, what marked the decade for her was perhaps her portrayal of the lead character Heather in the 2004 crime thriller drama “The Handler”, created by Chris Haddock, and which also starred Joe Pantoliano and Anna Belknap. It follows FBI agent Joe Renato as he’s training rookie agent – the series was nominated for a Golden Satellite Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Drama for Hill Harper.
Lola’s since played supporting characters in only a couple of popular series, while three of her most recent roles have been in 10 episodes of the crime drama “Ray Donovan” in 2018, the 2019 episode “The Spy Who Loved Me” of the action crime comedy “Lethal Weapon”, and the 2022 episode “A Seat at the Table” of the biographical mini-series “The Offer”.
