Age, Early Life, and Education Background

Noah Sebastian was born under the Scorpio zodiac sign on 31 October 1995, in Richmond, Virginia USA, and so is 28 years old as of late 2023. He comes from a family of devout Christians, and his grandparents were frequent churchgoers. Noah hasn’t revealed the names of his parents and it remains unclear whether he has any siblings. He spent his childhood days in Richmond. He has admitted that his grandpa was the only father figure he had when he was growing up.

Noah has kept his educational background hidden, but it’s reported that he dropped out of a local high school and left home to begin his career when he was 15 years old.

Noah began his musical career playing for the Washington DC-based band, Immoralist.

The Bad Omens

The idea of creating the Bad Omens band came in late 2013, when Noah started secretly writing songs during his tenure with Immoralist. In 2014, he left Immoralist and in 2015 he contacted his old friend Nicholas Ruffilo (backing vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and programmer) to form a band. He later contacted another old friend, Vincent Riquier (bassist and backing vocalist), who got him acquainted with his Swedish touring mate, Joakim Karlsson (lead guitarist, backing vocalist, and programmer). Nick Folio (drummer) later joined the band, after he learnt that they were looking for a drummer. Shortly afterwards the band signed with Sumerian Records – which had also signed Aaron Matts’ metal music group, Betraying the Martyrs. The lyrical content of the band’s tracks revolves mostly around mental health struggles, addiction and despair. Noah’s scratchy and high-pitched screaming style has seen Bad Omens compared to the 2010s metalcore style of the British rock band, Bring Me the Horizon.

After weeks of rehearsal in Nick Folio’s basement, Bad Omens set off to Belleville, New Jersey to record their first album. They went on to release several tracks such as “Exit Wounds” and “The Worst in Me,” which threw the band into the limelight. On 19 August 2016, the band released their debut self-titled album, which was well received, rated 8.5/10 by “Metal Injection.” Subsequently, Bad Omens began performing live in concerts across the US. In 2017, they had the opportunity of touring with the Warped Tour, which increased their fan base significantly. On 2 August 2019, Bad Omens released their second studio album, “Finding God Before God Finds Me,” which comprised songs such as “Never Know” and “The Hell I Overcame.” They released their third album, “The Death of Peace of Mind,” on 25 February 2022, on which the band members shifted from their metalcore style, and began integrating several elements of pop. The album was made up of six tracks including “Just Pretend,” “The Grey” and “The Death of Peace of Mind.”
