Who is Nicole Eggert?
Nicole Elizabeth Eggert was born in Glendale, California USA, on 13 January 1972 – her zodiac sign is Capricorn, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress with more than 70 credits to her name, while she’s perhaps still known best for her portrayal of Jamie Powell, one of the lead characters in the family comedy series “Charles in Charge”. It was created by Barbara Weisberg and Michael Jacobs, also starred Scott Baio and Willie Aames, and follows college student Charles who’s a live-in housekeeper for the Powell family, and is struggling to balance working, studying and spending time with his friends; the series aired from 1984 to 1990, and won two of the 15 awards for which it was nominated.
Nicole hasn’t appeared in any movies or TV series since 2019, and though it’s widely believed that she’s retired from acting, Nicole hasn’t confirmed this.
Early life and education
Nicole was raised in Glendale alongside her sister April Eggert, by their father Rolf Eggert who was an executive at a canning company, and their mother Gina Duncan who was a talent agent.
Nicole was somewhat thrown into the modelling industry at a very early age – she was five when she became Miss Universe in the petite category, and was noticed by an acting scout, who persuaded Nicole’s parents to let her be cast in a commercial for the shampoo Johnson’s Baby.
She was only seven years old when she made her debut film appearance, playing Mary Beth Denton #2 in the 1979 biographical war drama “When Hell Was in Session”, directed by Paul Krasny, and which starred Hal Holbrook, Eva Marie Saint and Mako. It follows US Navy Commander Jeremiah Denton who’s been shot down while flying over North Vietnam, and is now being held captive by the enemy; the movie won one of the four awards for which it was nominated, including a Primetime Emmy nomination.
Nicole then continued acting all through her entire education. She studied at a local high school, and was interested in numerous activities during her four years there, including playing volleyball, and dancing. She matriculated in 1990, and because she hasn’t spoken of her further education, it’s widely believed that Nicole hasn’t attended college.
Roles in movies
Nicole played Young Debby in the 1981 drama “Rich and Famous”, directed by George Cukor, and which starred Jacqueline Bisset, Candice Bergen and David Selby. It follows Liz and Merry who became best friends while attending the same college, while Liz’s today a famous author, and Merry a housewife.

A couple of Nicole’s other notable performances in the ‘80s were in the 1983 comedy drama “Hambone and Hillie”, the 1985 family fantasy comedy “I Dream of Jeannie… Fifteen Years Later”, and the 1989 action crime drama “Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects”.
What marked the ‘90s for her was perhaps her portrayal of the main character Alyssa Lloyd in the 1995 action science fiction horror “The Demolitionist”, written and directed by Robert Kurtzman, and which also starred Bruce Abbott and Susan Tyrrell. It tells the story of a deceased police officer, who’s been brought back to life by a scientist so that he can fight crime in his mafia-run town.
Nicole appeared in around 10 movies in the 2000s, and played Summer in the action adventure drama “Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding”, written and directed by Douglas Schwartz, it follows a group of lifeguards working at a Los Angeles beach, and starred David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson and Michael Bergin.
Three of Nicole’s most recent film roles have been in the 2014 comedy “Where’s the Love”, the 2016 short drama “Silent Sounds: The Diary” and the 2018 short romantic drama “Hey…,”.

Nicole made her debut TV series appearance in the 1981 crime drama “Today’s F. B. I.”, and gained recognition in 1982 and 1983, when cast to play Chrissie Hooker in the popular action crime drama “T. Nicole appeared in only a single TV series in the 2000s: the 2001 episode “Like Mother, Like Daughter” of the comedy drama “Gilmore Girls”. Her following role came in 2014, when cast to play Jayne Leebrick in the episode “Tainted Love” of the comedy mini-series “Heartbreakers”.
Most recently, in 2019, she voiced both Marion Ravenwood and Ilsa Haupstein in the episode “Musya Shakhtyorov in: Honeyboogers” of the critically acclaimed short animated adventure “Robot Chicken”.

In 1990, Nicole dated Latvian-American producer and turntablist DJ Lethal, then between 1991 and 1993 was in a relationship with Canadian actor Corey Haim – Nicole rushed Corey to the hospital many times while they were together, during his ‘narcotic rushes’. It’s widely believed that she thus saved his life on a number of occasions, although Nicole states that she was simply there for him during a rough period of his life.
She then dated American actors Eric Etebari and Aaron Paul, and American singer and actor Jeremy Jackson.
In 1998, Nicole gave birth to her and American actor Justin Herwick’s daughter Dilyn Elizabeth Eggert – she and Justin married in 2000, only to divorce two years later.

Nicole gave birth to her second daughter, Keegan Eggert on 29 July 2011, but the name of the girl’s father remains undisclosed.
