Known for being the ex-wife of former wrestler and bodybuilder Dave Bautista, Glenda Bautista was born on February 5th in the state of New York, USA. Her birth year is unknown, although it’s thought that it was in the late ‘60s. The brunette is 5ft 6in (1.67m) tall and weighs 113lbs (52kgs), with vital statistics of 34-29-33.

Later on, Glenda also enrolled into the Fordham Graduate School of Business with hopes of graduating with a double masters’ degree in Business Administration and Information Systems. During her time in Fordham, Glenda studied information systems, information technology management, consulting, and e-business.
Career
Glenda began her professional life as editorial assistant for the newspaper The Source from 1996 to 1997. Until 1998, she was also a general manager at WCDB, and from 1999 to 2000 she served as president on Sigma Psi Zeta’s national board of directors.
Later working for DoubleClick as a sales engineer, Glenda handled display ads and customized sponsorship programs. In the same company, she later worked as a designer and developer for products and emerging technologies. With Glenda’s work being featured in NASDAQ, Travelocity, and other websites, the New York native soon made a name for herself within the industry.
The academic also worked for MDC Partners’ Varick Media Management as a troubleshooter in charge of leading and managing an intelligence platform’s design and development. From 2006 to 2008, she was co-director at Locus Arts, and served as member on Kearney Street Workshop’s board of directors from 2008 to 2009.
Over the years, Glenda has worked at Hearst Publishing Company as the senior director for advertising products. With over two decades of experience in ad technologies, it’s little surprise that the savvy businesswoman is currently working as a product leader and solutions architect.
From 2012 to 2014, Glenda excelled as a director of product development for AOL and other brands. The following two years, she worked as a director in monetization, advertising, and platform products for iHeartMedia.
Personal Life
Dave and Glenda’s whirlwind romance began in 1989, with the ex-couple tying the knot on 25th March 1990, with close friends and family present at the intimate ceremony.
At the time, Dave was just 21 years old and worked as a nightclub bouncer. One sad Christmas, he had to borrow money from his boss to afford his daughters’ presents, and is quoted as saying: “I remember crying about it and just feeling so worthless. That was when I made a conscious decision. I’ve got to do something with myself”.
Spurred into action, Dave tried out a career in wrestling. Glenda supported her husband unconditionally throughout his ups and downs, which included the wrestler being told by Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker, who worked for the WCW Power Plant training school at the time, that he’d never be successful in the business.

Later on, Dave was advised at the World Wrestling Federation to train in the Wild Samoan Training Center school. After rigorous training, the young hopeful competed in the World Xtreme Wrestling promotion and debuted on 30th October 1999.
Shockingly, Dave and Glenda divorced in 1998 for unknown reasons. The wrestler never divulged the cause of their divorce, but it’s believed that they remained on amiable terms for the sake of their daughters Keilani and Athena, born in 1990 and 1992 respectively. Over the years, Dave has said on occasions that his life didn’t begin until he was thirty – just after divorcing Glenda – but she has never publicly spoken against him.
However, Glenda’s story had a happy ending: after half a decade dedicated to raising her daughters, she met her future second husband Chris Baker, whom she married in 2014 after being in a steady relationship for nine years.
As for Dave, he married his second wife Angie just months after divorcing Glenda. Angie gave birth to the couple’s only son, Oliver, but the marriage also went sour and ended in an acrimonious 2006 divorce. Finally, he married third wife Sarah Jade, a competitive pole dancer, in 2015, but they divorced in 2019, and he’s currently single.
Daughter Keilani has two children, Aiden and Jacob Bautista, with her husband. Both of Dave’s daughters have preferred to lead lowkey lives, although Athena has a YouTube channel.
In 2010, the wrestling superstar’s younger daughter suffered the humiliating experience of her sex tape with then-boyfriend Justin Miller being leaked by gossip page World Star Hip Hop and circulating online. Reportedly shot in a Miami hotel room, it was particularly damaging because at the time, Dave was working on the set of “Scorpion King 3”, and hoping to make his professional MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) debut. Online news sites speculated about how the World Wrestling Entertainment’s strict rules could affect Dave professionally in the wake of his daughter’s scandal.
Dave had announced his hopes for a MMA career in June 2010 and was negotiating a contract with Strikeforce, the organization behind the event of the same name.
Negotiations fell through when the Zuffa company bought Strikeforce, although it’s unknown if Athena’s sex tape had anything to do with how things ended.
Nevertheless, the wrestler smoothly transitioned into an acting career, and has since starred in Netflix’s “Army of the Dead”, “Guardians of the Galaxy”, and other shows and movies. In a 2021 interview with Esquire Middle East, he admitted to feeling frustrated at where his career was, saying: “I can’t find out how good of an actor I am until I’m offered those roles that are award-winning type roles. And those roles for a person like myself are just really hard to come by”.
Net Worth
Glenda’s net worth is estimated at around $250,000 as of 2021, thanks to her business acumen and wise money-making decisions. Her husband’s profession and net worth are unknown, while her ex-husband is said to now be worth $13 million.
