Rise to Fame for $40 Million-Worth Lawsuit

Carliz became romantically involved with renowned Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny in 2011. They together attended UPR in Arebibo and worked at a nearby grocery store during that time. While pursuing his music career, he would frequently seek her opinion on his songs. Besides that, she was reportedly responsible for managing his schedule and handling his contracts and invoices. After dating for five years, he took a step further and proposed to her on 1 January 2016. However, they ended their romance in May that year when he signed a record deal with Rimas Music and she was accepted into the UPR Law School. Despite a brief reconciliation in 2017, the couple ultimately parted their ways in the same year.

Carliz came to prominence in March 2023, when she filed a lawsuit against the rapper and his manager Noah Kamil Assad Byrne for using her voice in his music without her authorization.
