Who is Zaire Wade?
Zaire was born in Chicago, Illinois USA, on 4 February 2002 – his zodiac sign is Aquarius, and he holds American nationality. He’s a professional basketball player, who’s probably known best for two things: for having played for the Salt Lake City Stars of the National Basketball Association (NBA) minor league organization G League, and for being the eldest child of Dwyane Tyrone Wade Jr., an American former professional basketball player.
Early life and education
Zaire was raised in Chicago alongside his younger sister Zaya Wade, born on 29 May 2007, by their father and their mother Siohvaughn Funches, an American public speaker and author; Siohvaughn and Dwyane married in 2002, but divorced in 2010. Both parents remained equally involved in raising their children, while in 2014, Dwyane married his second wife, American actress Gabrielle Union.
Zaire grew up being interested mostly in basketball, looking up to his father and wanting to follow in his footsteps. He began to take the sport seriously upon enrolling at Mount Carmel High School, and started playing for their team during his freshman year; his cousin Dahveon Morris was also on the school’s basketball team, and was nicknamed ‘the Caravans’.
Following his freshman year, Zaire moved to Plantation, Florida and enrolled at American Heritage School, but transferred in 2019, to a private K-12 school in Los Angeles, California.
Upon matriculating in 2020, Zaire moved to Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and enrolled at Brewster Academy; he was then offered enrollment at several colleges on a scholarship, including Rhode Island, Nebraska, Toledo and DePaul, but Zaire chose not to pursue a college degree, turning professional instead.
Career as a professional basketball player
Zaire was picked by the Salt Lake City Stars on 23 October 2021, as the 10th overall pick, but was on 12 March 2022 moved to the team’s injury list, and ruled out for the rest of the year on 23 March, after having suffered a more serious injury, and Zaire was then let go the same day, so is at present unattached.

Love life and dating
Zaire prefers to keep the details of his love life to himself, but has still allowed his fans to have a glimpse into it. He began dating his high school sweetheart Jaynell Pittman, when they were both 16 years old, however, Zaire was apparently caught cheating on her in September 2020, and this led to their split.
In April 2022, he was seen spending time with his new girlfriend Lola Ann Clark, and just recently, in June 2022, Dwyane revealed that he and Lola celebrated their first anniversary, having kept their relationship a secret during that one year. Lola’s an American actress, model and TV host, and is today probably known best for being Zaire’s girlfriend.
Zaire hasn’t mentioned any other women whom he’s perhaps been with, and as of July 2022, he’s in a relationship with Lola Ann Clark, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Zaire’s quite active on Instagram, and is today followed by more than two million people, while he’s uploaded close to 50 pictures onto the network; most featuring him during his everyday life.
He’s physically highly active, and has multiple training sessions at the gym every week, thus his muscular body.
Zaire’s a fan of tattoos, and has several inked onto various parts of his body.
He’s passionate about travelling, and basketball has already taken him to several US states, while he’s also travelled to a couple of European countries, including France and England.
Zaire enjoys watching movies late at night – his favorite actor and actress are Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, while a couple of his favorite films include “The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective” and “Liar Liar”.
Age, height and net worth
Zaire’s age is 20. He has short black hair and brown eyes, his height is 6ft 3ins (1.9m) and he weighs around 175lbs (80kgs).
As of July 2022, his net worth stands at over $50,000, while his father Dwyane’s net worth has been estimated at over $170 million.
Who is his father Dwyane Wade?
Dwyane was born in Chicago on 17 January 1982 – his zodiac sign is Capricorn, and he holds American nationality. He spent 16 years competing in the NBA, playing for the Miami Heat during most of that time; Dwyane was named to the NBA All-Star Game 13 times, and won three NBA Championships.

He was raised alongside his older sister Tragil, by their father Dwyane Wade Sr. and mother JoLinda; Dwyane has two older half-siblings from his mother’s former marriage/relationship. His parents split when he was only four months old, and JoLinda received custody over both children, even though she was a drug addict, and spent her time in-and-out of jail. When Dwyane was eight years old, Tragil told him that they were going to the movies, but instead took him to live with their father and step-mother.
To avoid drugs and joining gangs, Dwyane began playing basketball while attending a local elementary school, and grew up with Michael Jordan as his role model; upon seeing her son become a successful basketball player, JoLinda chose to turn her life around, and she today claims that she’s been drug-free since 2003.
Dwyane went on to play basketball at Harold L. Richards High School, and upon matriculating in 2000, was offered scholarships by DePaul, Illinois State and Marquette; Dwyane enrolled at Marquette, and played under coach Tom Crean. He played remarkably well during his three years there, and thus chose to quit college in 2003, to make himself eligible for the 2003 NBA draft.
He was picked by the Miami Heat, and was named to his first All-Star Game in the following year. Miami faced and defeated the Dallas Mavericks in the 2006 NBA Finals, with Dwyane being named Most Valuable Player (MVP).
His 2007 and 2008 seasons were plagued by injuries, but Dwyane was still named to his fourth All-Star Game in 2008.
He continued to play for Miami until July 2016, when he signed a two-year contract worth $47 million with the Chicago Bulls, but then signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers on 24 September 2017,before returning to Miami in 2018. Dwyane played his final game on 9 April 2019, and the Miami Heat retired his No. 3 jersey on 7 January 2020.
He became a minority owner of the NBA’s Utah Jazz on 16 April 2021.
