American social media personality and celebrity family member Elijah Judd, was born in Nashville, Tennessee USA, on 23 December 1994, making Capricorn his zodiac sign. He’s perhaps only known for being the elder child of American country singer Wynonna Ellen Judd.

Education and early life

Elijah was raised in Nashville alongside his younger sister Grace Pauline Kelley, by their mother Wynonna and father Arch Kelley III, who’s a retired businessman; Grace is a drug addict, and is currently serving time for using and selling drugs.

Elijah studied at a local high school in Nashville, and was mostly into playing soccer and basketball during his time there, although he also appeared in a couple of school plays, and occasionally ran track. He took singing lessons, as well, but soon learned that he wasn’t as talented as his mother.

Wynonna was raised in Ashland by her mother Naomi Judd and stepfather Michael Ciminella; her biological father Charles Jordan abandoned Naomi before Wynonna was born, and Naomi then married Michael and gave birth to Wynonna’s half-sister Ashley. The family moved to Los Angeles, California in 1968, but Naomi and Michael divorced in 1972; Naomi moved with her daughters to Kentucky in 1976, and then to Nashville, Tennessee in 1979, in pursuit of a music career. Prior to launching her career as a country musician and changing her name, Wynonna’s mother Naomi was known as Diana.

Naomi and Wynonna formed their country duo The Judds in 1983, and in the same year signed a contract with RCA Records. They released many songs in the following eight years, with 23 of these charting on Billboard Hot Country Singles, and they also released eight albums, not including two Greatest Hits albums and a Christmas album. The mother and daughter duo won numerous awards and accolades during these years, including eight Billboard Music Awards and nine Country Music Association Awards, while they were also nominated for five Grammies.

Naomi began suffering from hepatitis C in 1991, which marked the end of The Judds; this led Wynonna to focus on her solo career, and she signed with MCA Records and Curb Records in the same year. She released her debut solo album “Wynonna” in 1992, and its lead single “She Is His Only Need” topped the charts; her second album “Tell Me Why” came out in the following year, and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), while it also spawned five charting songs.

Some of Wynonna’s following albums were “Revelations”, released in 1996, “The Other Side”, which came out in 1997, and the 2000 album “New Day Dawning”. Wynonna and Elijah’s father Arch Kelley III divorced in 1998, after having been married for three years, and she then married her former bodyguard D. R. Roach on 22 November 2003; he was arrested for sexually assaulting a 13 years old girl on 22 March 2007, and Wynonna then filed for divorce. She married her third husband, American drummer Scott ‘Cactus’ Moser on 10 June 2012, and they’ve since been together.

Wynonna’s daughter Grace was sentenced to spend eight years behind bars for making and selling methamphetamines in June 2018.

Wynonna’s mother Naomi struggled with a mental illness and depression, and committed suicide on 30 April 2022.
