He moved to the USA when he was 18 years old, and enrolled at Grinnell College in Iowa’s small town of the same name. He double majored in computer science and philosophy, then moved to Chicago, where he started performing stand-up comedy.

His comedy routine led him to New York and Los Angeles, and he soon made his first appearance in the shows “Michael & Michael Have Issues” and “The Colbert Report”.
