His career in TV started in the city of Cleveland, then Philadelphia, working as a Property Assistant in 1962, Producer in 1965 and Executive Producer in 1967 for KYW-TV’s ‘The Mike Douglas Show.’ His role as the executive producer of the show saw him nominated for a 1968 Emmy Award.
Between 1987 and 1988, Roger was credited along with Lee Atwater with guiding President George H. W. Bush in the Republican preliminaries.
