Pearce Joza is an American actor, probably best known to the world as Spyder Johnson in the TV series “Mech X4” (2016-2018), and as Wyatt in the 2020 television movie “Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2”, plus in several other roles that he’s secured so far in his young acting career.

Pearce Joza Fazekas was born on 6 September 2002 under the Virgo zodiac sign, in Durango, Colorado USA,  of part-Hungarian ancestry.

Pearce became interested in acting at the early age of three, when his parents took him to see a stage performance of “Frog & Toad”. At first his parents were against his subsequent decision to become an actor, and refused to let him leave home for Los Angeles to pursue his career, but relented a couple of years later, and he moved to Los Angeles. He went to Mountain Middle School in his hometown, while still pursuing his career. He is now a student at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and trains in acting under Sharon Chatten and Larry Moss.

Career Beginnings

Pearce was just 12 years old when he made his acting debut in the role of Erin Jaeger in the short film “Attack on Space” in 2014, but it was then three years later that he appeared in the thriller horror-drama film “The Purgation”, starring Tiffany Kieu, Kat Johnston and Kate Dauphin.

Rise to Prominence

The next year was a rather successful one for young Pearce Joza. First, he was selected for the part of Logan in the TV comedy series “Legendary Dudas” (2016), then joined the cast of the award-winning action comedy-drama series “Lab Rats: Bionic Island” as Daniel Davenport.

However, his first major role also happened in 2016, as he was chosen for the role of Spyder Johnson in the TV action-adventure series “Mech- X4”, starring next to Kamran Lucas, Nathaniel J. Potvin and Raymond Cham Jr. He appeared in all 36 episodes of the award-winning series through 2018, which launched Pearce to prominence.

Next, Pearce portrayed Young Jonnie in the comedy film “Best of Seven”, written and directed by Jonnie Stapleton, who also starred in the film.

After the end of “Mech- X4”, Pearce appeared in two episodes of the TV series “Dwight in Shining Armor” in 2019, then was rather busy in 2020, first with the role of Wyatt in the television romantic-comedy movie “Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2”, starring Milo Manheim, Trevor Tordjman and Meg Donnelly. Most recently, the young actor lent his voice to Wyatt in the animated series “Addison’s Moonstone Mystery” (2020), and is set to reprise his role of Wyatt in the third installment of the popular film franchise “Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 3”; the film is currently in post-production, and there is no premiere date set yet.

Pearce was just four years old when he appeared on stage as Randy in the play “A Christmas Story”, followed by the role of Centipede in “James and the Giant Peach”, and later as Miss Hannigan as a drag character in “Annie”. When he was nine years old, Pearce portrayed three different characters in an adult production of the play “A Christmas Carol”, as The Ghost of Christmas Past, Want, and Tiny Tim. Some of his other theater works include appearances in “Sleepy Hollow”, “The Aristocrats” and “The Little Mermaid”, among numerous others.
