Tijs Michiel Verwest, commonly known by a stage name of DJ Tiesto, is a famous Dutch record producer, musician, as well as a disc jockey. Often referred to as Da Joker, DJ Limited or Wild Bunch, DJ Tiesto first gained public attention in 1997, with the release of the “Magik” series, a mix-compilation series of trance music genre, which consisted of seven installments. The first installment in the series was “Magik One: First Flight” released in 1997, while the last one was entitled “Magik Seven: Live in Los Angeles”, which came out in 2001.
