Who is Nathaniel Buzolic?
Nathaniel Buzolic was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 4 August 1983 – his zodiac sign is Leo, he holds Australian nationality and is of Croatian descent. He’s an actor with more than 20 credits to his name, while he’s perhaps known best for his portrayal of the supporting character Harold ‘Hal’ Doss, in the critically acclaimed 2016 biographical historical movie “Hacksaw Ridge”. Early life and education
Nathaniel was raised in Sydney by his parents, about whom nothing’s known as he respects their privacy; it’s said that his mother is a retired nurse, and that his father was a doctor. Because he hasn’t mentioned having any siblings, most people believe Nathaniel to be an only child.
He became interested in acting while studying at the high school De La Salle College, Ashfield; Nathaniel was a member of its drama club, and appeared in various plays performed both at the school, and at a local theatre. He switched to Australian Theatre for Young People when he was 15, and matriculated in 2001.
Nathaniel then enrolled at Screenwise Acting School for Film and Television, and during his time there launched his acting career, with his portrayal of Paul Chalmers in a 2002 episode of the long-running romantic drama series “Home and Away”, while he then played Damon Lloyd in the 2003 episode “Friend in Need” of the drama “All Saints”.

In 2019, we saw him play Jason in the popular mystery crime drama “Saving Zoe”, directed by Jeffrey G. Hunt, and which starred Laura Marano, Vanessa Marano and Chris Tavarez. The movie follows a teenager whose sister Zoe has been murdered, while she’s now found her diary that could point to the killer.

Nathaniel played Jahrryde in the 2010 episode “A Veil of Tears” of the crime drama “Cops LAC”, and Jesse Major in a 2011 episode of the crime drama “Crownies”. Between 2012 and 2014, he played Kol Mikaelson in the popular fantasy horror drama “The Vampire Diaries”, created by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, and which starred Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder. Nathaniel and Hayley split after several months.
He started dating the French non-celebrity girl Lorna Lalinec in 2014; he was vacationing in Paris, France and noticed her at a café, and as he has explained in an interview, she was the most beautiful girl there, and he decided to approach her.
It turned out that she didn’t speak English, while he can’t speak French; they still managed to find a way to communicate, and went on to maintain their long-distance relationship for five years, during which she often travelled from Paris to Los Angeles, California to visit Nathaniel, while he occasionally came to Paris. They broke up in 2019.
