Carey Mulligan was born on 28 May 1985, in Westminister, London, England, to Nano, a university lecturer of Welsh descent, and Stephen Mulligan, a hotel manager of Irish descent. She is an actress, probably best known for her role of Jenny Mellor in the film “An Education”, as well as for roles in the films “Never Let Me Go”, “Drive”, “The Great Gatsby” and “Far From the Madding Crowd”.
