American model, actress, film producer, as well as television personality and socialite, Marla Maples was born on 27 October 1963, in Dalton, Georgia, but is probably still best known as a former wife of business magnate, investor and now President of the US Donald Trump.

Prior to that, Maples starred in a largely criticized horror film “Maximum Overdrive”, for which director Stephen King actually ‘won’ a Raspberry Award for Worst Director, while Emilio Estevez received an award for Worst Actor. In 1998, Maples starred in an ensemble movie alongside Jane Adams, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jared Harris and Lara Flynn Boyle called “Happiness”, and a year later appeared with Robert Downey Jr., Allan Houston and Jared Leto in “Black and White”.

Marla Maples debuted on Broadway in 1991, in a play entitled “The Will Rogers Follies”, in which she played the character of “Ziegfeld’s favorite” – Maples came back to the theatre scene in 2011, when she made an appearance in an off-Broadway production “Love, Loss and What I Wore”.
