Who is Marcy Wudarski?

Marcella Mary Ann ‘Marcy’ Wudarski was born under the zodiac sign of Aquarius on 6 February 1967, in Hudson, Pasco County, Florida USA; she holds American nationality and her ethnicity is of Polish descent. Early life and education

Marcy was raised by her parents Edward B. and Mary Ann Wudarski – there is no information about her siblings, so it’s assumed that she’s their only child. Her father was a former Army lieutenant colonel, and was a comptroller for the Department of the Army in Washington DC; he died in 1986, while her mother died in 1998.

She attended Bayonet Point Junior High School, and upon matriculating in 1985, she enrolled at college, but she hasn’t disclosed what degree has earned, but has spoken about her educational background saying that she graduated from college in 1990.

After her graduation, Marcy worked various jobs to provide for herself, and when she moved to New York City, she started working in the movie industry, including as an assistant to James Gandolfini.

She has one credit to her name as the executive producer for the movie “Wish You Were Here”, starring Gary Kohn, Arroyn Ambrose and Louie Sabatasso in this drama directed and written by James O’Brien, which had no awards, however, it was well rated among the public.

Since Marcy prefers to keep her life away from the media’s attention, she hasn’t disclosed any information about her career after she worked for this movie.

Love life and marriage with James Gandolfini

As mentioned, she keeps her life low-key, so she hasn’t spoken about any previous relationships before she married James Gandolfini.

The two met in 1995 when he hired her as an assistant, and eventually they fell in love and started dating, and in the following year, they moved together into James’ apartment in the West Village, a neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.

The two engaged in 1997, and m 1999arried in March, in a wedding held in the presence of the closest family members and friends.

They welcomed their son, Michael, on 10 May 1999, so the rumors were saying that two married just because she was pregnant, however, it all looked fine, so the news about their divorce in 2002 was a big surprise.

Rumors escalated, and according to some sources, James had left their apartment in 2001, and he filed for divorce a year later, while Marcy claimed that the reason for his leaving was his alcohol and drug rehabilitation; James claimed that he had those problems, but four years ago, and that he filed for divorce because of her temperamental and emotional volatile behavior.

Thus, James and Marcy finally divorced in December 2002 – she got their apartment, and Michael continued to live with his mother, but it seems that they stayed in a good relationship, even Marcy stating to the New York Post: ‘I always believed Jim would be there for me. That he’d take care of me and love me, as I did him. That we’d be together for 90 years. His family became my family.’

As of January 2022, Marcy seems to be single, was once married, and has one child; Michael is also an actor, who debuted in the 2018 movie “Ocean’s 8”.

James Joseph Gandolfini Junior was born under the zodiac sign of Virgo on 18 September 1961, in Westwood, New Jersey USA; he held American nationality and his ethnicity was of Italian descent. He was a producer and actor with over 50 credits to his name, perhaps known best for his role as Tony Soprano in the popular crime drama series “The Sopranos”, which had 309 award nominations and won 120, including 21 Primetime Emmys.

He was raised alongside his two older sisters Leta and Johanna, by their parents Santa and James Joseph; they were devout Catholics, and spoke Italian at home. The family moved to Park Ridge, New Jersey, where James attended a local high school, and upon matriculating in 1979, he enrolled at Rutgers University, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications in 1983.

James had an interest in acting from an early age, appearing in school plays and continuing at college, after which he moved to New York City, and studied at The Gately Poole Conservatory, under acting teacher Kathryn Gately.

Speaking about his personal life, after he divorced Marcy Wudarski, he married Deborah Lin, a former model and actress from Honolulu, Hawaii, on 30 August 2008, and in October 2012 their daughter, Liliane was born.

James died on 19 June 2013, at the age of 51, in Rome, Italy; his and Marcy’s son Michael, who was at that time 14 years old, found him on the bathroom floor in their room at the Boscolo Exedra Hotel.  Michael called reception, and soon emergency paramedics arrived, however, he was pronounced dead at the hospital, and an autopsy confirmed that he’d had a heart attack.

James’ body was returned to the US on June 23, and his funeral service was held on 27 June at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in Manhattan, and his body was cremated; Marcy was present with her son at the service, and there are pictures of her, on which she looked devastated with tears in her eyes.

At the time of his death, his net worth was estimated at $70 million.
