Michael Duane Adalbert Adam Johnson was born on the 13th September 1967, in Dallas, Texas, USA. He is a former athlete, considered one of the greatest sprinters of all time, winning four Olympic and eight world titles. More, he set the world record in the 400 metres (43.18 seconds), established on the 26th August 1999 in the final of World Championships held in Seville. He also held the world record for the 200 meters (19.32 seconds) for twelve years before it was beaten on the 20th August 2008 by the Jamaican Usain Bolt (19.30 seconds). He was also awarded IAAF Trophy for the Athlete of the Year twice (1996 and 1999), was inducted into the National Track and Field Hall of Fame (2004) and into the IAAF Hall of Fame (2012).
