Lindsey Caroline Kildow was born on 18th October 1984, in Saint Paul, Minnesota USA. Known widely as Lindsey Vonn, she is a professional alpine ski racer which is the major source of her income. Lindsey is a multiple winner of World Championships as well as an Olympic Games gold medallist. Lindsey is one of only six women worldwide to have won World Cup ski races in all five disciplines: downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom and combined. (The others are Anja Pärson, Pernilla Wiberg, Petra Kronberger, Janica Kostelić and Tina Maze) Vonn has been active in the professional sports industry since 2000.

It was her father, Alan Lee Kildow, who then encouraged her to pursue a skiing career: he had been a unior champion, but had to quit due to knee injury. As a result of tough and regular skiing practice, Lindsey became a member of USA Ski Team and debuted in the World Cup at the age of 16. In 2002, she took part in her first Olympic games though she was not good enough to win a medal, finishing sixth in the combined. Despite this, it was great experience, and all the victories were ahead: In 2003, she won a silver medal at the Junior World Ski Championships, and a year later, added silver and bronze at the Junior World Ski Championships held in Maribor.

In 2007, Lindsey was mature enough to participate in the World Championship and won silver medals in the super-g and downhill disciplines. Moreover, two years later she managed improve her skiing by winning two gold medals in the same disciplines. At the Vancouver Olympic Games 2010, Lindsey succeeded in those beloved disciplines winning gold and bronze medals. All these victories added much to her popularity, net worth and overall wealth. One of her last achievements was a bronze medal in the 2015 Beaver Creek World Championship. It is expected that Vonn’s net worth will rise and many victories are yet to come.
