Who is Lil Eazy-E?
Eric Darnell Wright, perhaps known better by his stage name Lil Eazy-E, was born in Compton, California USA, on 23 April 1984 – his zodiac sign’s Taurus, and he holds American nationality. He’s a rapper, president of Rich & Ruthless Records and founder of Rich & Ruthless Cannabis, while he’s probably known best for being the oldest son of the late American rapper Eric Lynn Wright, known better as Eazy-E.
Early life and education
Lil Eazy-E was raised in Compton alongside his half-brother Baby Eazy-E, also known as E3, mostly by their grandmother as their father was busy working; not a lot is known about Lil Eazy-E’s mother, as he respects her privacy. He has nine other half-siblings.
Lil Eazy-E was 10 years old when he father lost his battle against HIV/AIDS, and it was around this time that he began spending more and more time on the streets, eventually becoming interested in rap music. He studied at a local high school, and was interested in a couple of activities during his four years there, including acting with the school’s drama club, and practicing creative writing.
Lil-Eazy matriculated in 2002 and then began pursuing his career as a rapper, rather than a college degree.
Career as a rapper
Lil Eazy-E was signed to Virgin Records in 2003, and was in the same year featured on RizzyBoy’s song “Lets Get It Crackin’”, and O. G. Daddy V and Caviar’s “We the Shit”.
He released his debut single “Gangsta Sh**” in 2005, and the following year saw Lil Eazy-E release his two mixtapes, which remain his only two to this day, entitled “Cali Untouchable Radio 14: Rebirth of Gangsta Rap”, and “This Aint a Game Hosted by Mixtape Messiah”.
Lil Eazy-E’s since been featured in songs of many popular artists, such as DJ Nik Bean’s 2008 “What We Claimin’ (Edited)”, The Game’s 2015 “Outside”, and Platinum O. G.’s 2019 “Studio Gangstas”.
TV appearances
Since 2018, Lil Eazy-E’s been starring in the reality show “Growing Up Hip Hop”, created by Datari Turner, and which also stars Romeo Miller, Master P and Angela Simmons; it follows the lives of some of the most popular people in the hip hop industry.

Lil Eazy-E prefers to keep the details of his love life away from the media’s attention, and hasn’t spoken of any women or men whom he’s perhaps been with. This is mostly why there are today various rumors circulating the internet, concerning both his sexual orientation and past and present affairs.
Some of his fans believe him to be gay, claiming that this is why Lil Eazy-E avoids talking about his love life; some people have also claimed to have seen Lil Eazy-E spending time with his boyfriend at a club in Los Angeles, but no evidence has been provided to support these claims, nor has Lil Eazy-E addressed these rumors.

It’s known that he was in a relationship with American singer and rapper Moniece Slaughter between 2005 and 2007, and that she lost her virginity to him.

Eazy-E was born in Compton on 7 September 1964 – his zodiac sign was Virgo, and he held American nationality. He remains remembered for having been the leader of the now-disbanded American hip hop group N. W. A., as well as the owner of Ruthless Records; Eazy-E’s still often referred to as ‘Godfather of Gangsta Rap”.
He was raised in Compton, a suburb known for its high crime rate and gangs, by his mother Kathie Wright who was a grade-school administrator, and his father Richard who was a postal worker; Eazy-E was 10 years old when he dropped out of school, but eventually took his GED tests.

He was still a teenager when he began selling marijuana, but his music manager Jerry Heller later revealed that Eazy-E refused to sell cocaine. It’s believed that Eazy-E had already made over $250,000 by the time he turned 22, and after his cousin (whom he introduced to dealing drugs) was killed, he chose to invest his money in music, thus founding Ruthless Records.
The original lineup of N. W. A., founded in 1987, was Eazy-E, Ice Cube and Arabian Prince, while MC Ren and DJ Yella joined later; their debut album “N. W. A. and the Posse” came out on 6 November 1987, and was eventually certified gold in the US. Eazy-E began working on his solo career at around the same time, and released his debut album “Eazy-Duz-It” in 1988, comprising 12 tracks; it’s since sold over 2.5 million copies.
Ice Cube left N. W. A. in the following year, and the group then released their extended play (EP) “100 Miles and Runnin’ in 1990, and their second and final album “Niggaz4Life” in 1991.
On 19 October 1993, Eazy-E released his final EP – “It’s On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa”.
In 1991, Eazy-E met Tomica Woods at a nightclub in Los Angeles, and they married in 1995, less than two weeks before his death; Eazy-E died from AIDS-induced pneumonia on 26 March 1995, at the age of 30.
