Who is Jae Lin?

South Korean-American celebrity wife Jae Lin, was born sometime in the second half of the 1980s, but her exact date of birth hasn’t been disclosed. She only gained recognition after she married American rapper, singer-songwriter and drummer Brandon .Paak Anderson, perhaps known best for his single “Bubblin”, which won him a Grammy for Best Rap Performance at the 61st Grammy Awards.

Education and early life

Jae was raised in Seoul, South Korea by her Korean parents about whom she rarely speaks in public because they prefer to maintain their privacy; it’s believed that both Jae’s parents are college professors, but this hasn’t been confirmed. She hasn’t spoken about having siblings, so most of Jae’s fans believe that she’s an only child.

She studied at a local high school in Seoul, and it was during her time there that she became interested in music. Jae matriculated in the first half of the 2000s and then moved to Los Angeles, California and enrolled at Musicians Institute of Hollywood, which was also where she met her future husband Anderson; Jae graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in either 2007 or 2008.

Jae’s initial plan was to become a musician, however, after marrying Anderson, she chose to put her career on hold and focus on raising their children.

Love life and husband

Jae and Anderson wed in 2011, and soon afterwards she gave birth to their first son Soul Rasheed.

Anderson was still rather unknown in the music industry at that time, and worked at a marijuana farm in Santa Barbara, California, however, he was fired without a warning, and the family of three thus ended up homeless. He went on to steadily make a name for himself as a rapper, and eventually Jae gave birth to their second son Shine in 2017.

Anderson’s revealed that he was married once prior to meeting Jae, but hasn’t disclosed the woman’s name or profession; they were married for two years prior to divorcing, and don’t  have children together.

Jae hasn’t mentioned other men whom she’s dated, she’s married to Anderson .Paak as of March 2023, and they have two sons together.

Jae isn’t a fan of social media networks, and thus isn’t active on any; her husband has built himself quite a fanbase on the internet, as there are today more than 3.3 million people following him on Instagram, while he’s posted close to 100 pictures and videos onto his account.

Jae’s said to be a talented artist, and some of her fans have claimed that she’s selling paintings on the internet under a pseudonym, but this hasn’t been confirmed.

She’s passionate about travelling and has been to a number of US states with her husband, mostly to keep him company while he’s performing.

Famous American rapper Brandon Paak Anderson – aka Anderson .Paak – was born in Oxnard, California USA on 8 February 1986, so Aquarius is his zodiac sign. Other than being popular for his solo career, Anderson’s also known for being a member of the music superduo NxWorries, together with Knxwledge, and of the superduo Silk Sonic with Bruno Mars.

Anderson and his sister were raised in Oxnard by their mother who was born in South Korea but adopted by an American couple; Anderson’s father was physically abusive towards his wife and one day beat her in the street until she started bleeding. He was arrested and sentenced to spend 14 years behind bars, and Anderson’s revealed that he hasn’t seen him since.

When he was 17 and attending his final year at Foothill Technology High School, Anderson’s mother was convicted of major fraud, and sentenced to spend seven years behind bars.

He fell in love with music when he began playing the drums at church; Anderson matriculated in 2004, and then focused on his career as a rapper, while also enrolling at Musicians Institute of Hollywood; he initially used Breezy Lovejoy as his stage name. It was in 2011, after having been fired from a marijuana farm that he began taking music more seriously, and started working on his debut album. “O. B. E. Vol. 1” was released on 30 June 2012, and he then changed his stage name to what it is today.

On 27 November 2013, he released his debut extended play (EP) which comprised more than 10 covers, then Anderson’s second album “Venice” was released on 28 October 2014, and it’s regarded as his debut studio album as it was his first to be released under a major label – Empire Distribution. His second studio album “Malibu” followed on 15 January 2016, and the same year saw him sign a contract with Dr. Dre’s record label Aftermath Entertainment.

His third album “Oxnard” came out on 16 November 2018, and Anderson embarked on a US and Europe tour on 11 February 2019 as a way to promote it; his fourth album “Ventura” followed on 12 April 2019. In January 2020, he was featured in the Eminem’s song “Music to be Murdered By”, found on his 11th studio album.

Anderson and Bruno Mars founded Silk Sonic on 26 February 2021, and their debut album “An Evening with Silk Sonic” came out on 12 November 2021; most recently, on 13 February 2022, Anderson and American rapper 50 Cent performed together during the Super Bowl LVI halftime.

Anderson’s a philanthropist, and founded The Brandon Anderson Foundation back in 2016, which it aims to bring arts closer to underprivileged children.
