Who is Elijah Blue Allman?

Elijah, known better by his professional name Phillips Exeter Blue, was born in Los Angeles, California USA, on 10 July 1976 – his zodiac sign’s Cancer, and he holds American nationality. He’s a musician, but perhaps known best for being the son of famous American singer and actress Cher.

Early life and education

Elijah was raised in Los Angeles alongside his five half-siblings, by their mother and his father Gregg Allman, who was an American musician, singer-songwriter, and who passed away on 27 May 2017, aged 69.

Elijah was introduced to music at a very early age, as both his parents had already become popular worldwide. Having everything he wanted didn’t have a good effect on Elijah, and he was only 11 years old when he began taking drugs, and later developed a heroin addiction; he’s stated that he’s been sober since 2008.

Elijah studied at Hyde School in Bath, Maine from which he matriculated in 1994; he was interested in a couple of activities during his four years there, including acting with the school’s drama club, singing in a school band and dancing.

Career as a musician

Elijah was given his first guitar by Gene Simmons, a famous Israeli-American singer-songwriter who’s probably known best for being the bassist of the American rock ‘n’ roll band Kiss; Elijah was 13 when he went on his first tour with his mother, as her guitarist.

Elijah was 18 when he auditioned for a guitarist spot in the American industrial rock ‘n’ roll band Nine Inch Nails, which eventually went to Robin Finck.

The following year, he found his own industrial rock/metal band Deadsy, together with drummer Alec Puro and producer Josh Abraham. The boys were signed to Sire Records in the following year, and hired Jay Gordon as their bassist. They signed a new contract with Elementree Records in 2002, and in the same year released their debut album “Commencement”, which peaked at #100 on the Billboard 200 Chart.

Their second album “Phantasmagore” came out on 22 August 2006, and it also charted on Billboard 200. Deadsy went on an hiatus in February 2007, eventually revealing on 16 November 2018 that they were reuniting; their new album was to be released in 2021, but has been postponed.

Love life and wife

Although Elijah prefers to keep the details of his love life away from the media’s attention, it’s still widely known that he was a married man, as well as that he’s dated a couple of celebrities.

He dated famous American actress, model and singer Bijou Phillips in 1997; she’s perhaps known best for being the daughter of the late American singer-songwriter John Edmund Andrew Phillips, and the late South African actress and singer Genevieve Joyce Waite.

He married British singer Marieangela ‘Queenie’ King on 1 December 2013, but filed for divorce in 2021.

As of August 2022, Elijah seems to be single, has until recently been married to Marieangela ‘Queenie’ King, and doesn’t have children.

Hobbies and other interests

Elijah prefers to stay away from social media networks, but still has an Instagram account, although he’s not very active on the network; he’s uploaded only 30 pictures, the majority of which have been taken during his everyday life, and he’s today followed by over 3,000 people.

He’s passionate about traveling, and has been around the world for both work and pleasure, while his dream travel destination’s Berlin, Germany.

Elijah’s physically more or less active, as he has two to three training sessions at the gym every week.

Cher grew up looking up to the late British actress Audrey Hepburn, and was 16 when she dropped out of high school and moved to Los Angeles to begin taking both singing and acting classes, and earned money by dancing in clubs.

She released her debut studio album “All I Really Want to Do” in 1965, and it peaked at #16 on the Billboard 200 Chart.
