Who is FlightReacts?
FlightReacts (or simply Flight), was born under the zodiac sign of Leo on 7 August 1995, in Washington DC USA; he holds American nationality, and his ethnicity is African-American. His real name is Kimani Tariq Kamiru-White, and he’s a musician and YouTuber perhaps best known for his YouTube channel entitled “FlightReacts”, which was launched on 20 September 2015, and for now has gained over 4.5 million subscribers, with all of his videos combined having almost 350 million views.
Early life and education
Since his family moved when he was still a baby, Flight was raised in West Palm Beach, Florida alongside his sister by their parents, whose names and occupations are unknown, and it seems that they prefer to keep their lives private.

From an early age he dreamed of becoming an NBA player, he played basketball for the school team, however, in ninth grade he had an injury that prevented him from playing. He also used to smoke marijuana, and because of him being ‘high’ almost every day, his school friends gave him the moniker “Flight”.
Flight attended a local high school, and upon matriculating in 2013 he didn’t enroll at college, but launched his career as a barber, taking classes at a local barbershop.

Flight’s videos, as his moniker says, are mostly featuring his reactions on various themes, although he started his YouTube career with videos about NBA games and highlights, since he is still an amateur basketball player, and is a big fan of this game.
He has another YouTube channel entitled “Not Your Average Flight”, which he launched on 9 June 2013, and on which he has over four million subscribers, with all of his videos combined have amassed over 775 million views; onto this channel, he mostly posts videos featuring his reactions to basketball games.
Besides his YouTube career, he’s also a musician, making his music debut in February 2017 when he released his song “Cold Blooded”, followed by his singles “Broken Boi Boi”, “Fellings”, and his most popular song for now “Disingenuous” which has gained near nine million views and over 250,000 likes on YouTube.
In August 2020, Flight released his debut music album “Walking W”, and recently he had a collaboration with rappers such as Soulja Boy for the song “Trip-Trippin”, which was premiered on 27 September 2021, and has gained over 550,000 views, and his song with a rapper BlueFace “GotCheck Remix” released on 10 September 2021, has over 200,000 views on FlightReacts’ YouTube channel.

His number one is the official audio for his song “Disingenuous” uploaded on 20 April 2020, which has nearly nine million views, and also over 400,000 likes.
Flight’s second most viewed video “Real Life Tricks Shots Dude Perfect Reaction!” was uploaded on 27 May 2017, and has over six million views and over 100,000 likes, and as the title says, it’s his reaction on perfectly timed trick shots.
The third most viewed video on his channel is the official music video for his song “Broken Boi Boi”, uploaded on 22 February 2019, and attracted over five million views and nearly 200,000 likes.

Love life and relationships
Flight dated YouTuber Ariel Diaz back in 2017, and when they broke up, he was seeing Ti Taylor, a rap singer from the duo Taylor Girlz, however, they split after a few months.
Flight’s love life is quite interesting, as there were various rumors about him and some girls who were for some time in his videos, however, he didn’t speak about them until 6 September 2020, when he uploaded the video “We Are Expecting…” in which he was talking about his relationship with a girl who was known as his crush – her name is Janet, at that time she was three months pregnant, and Flight decided to introduce the mother of his baby to his fans.
Although he hadn’t spoken about the two of them before, keeping his love life private, this was big news so he wanted to share it with his followers, however, they both confirmed that they are not officially a couple, but they will try to work on their relationship, so they could be good parents to their child.
On 17 October 2020, Flight posted a video saying ‘ I was trying so hard to work things out, make things work these past months, and honestly, it’s just been nothing but hell. She been putting me through nothing but hell since she’s been pregnant and even before it…’ and it was clear that his and Janet’s relationship was not going in the right direction; he also stated that she cheated on him, so he decided to start dating other women.
It was his on-and-off girlfriend Andreah ‘Dreyahh’ Gonzalez, a YouTube content creator known better as Drea.
Drea and Flight seemed happy, they have some collaboration videos featuring them playing “Fortnite”, however, Flight’s fans accused her of manipulating him, they called her ‘a gold digger’, and the rumors escalated when he was streaming a live video, she started yelling at him and kept insisting on talking with him; when he refused, she switched the stream off.
Flight’s and Janet’s daughter was born on 2 March 2021, and they named her Jae June; they’ve decided to share custody, and to keep their relationship as friendly as they can because of their daughter.
Speaking of his relationship with Drea, they split; Flight left her, announcing in a video on 21 March 2021 explaining to his fans why, as he said: ‘ the reason for breaking up is she is too psycho, manipulative, and controlling. I am a pretty boss a** to be controlled by a woman, by anybody, in general.’
