His successful acting career has brought him huge financial success and worldwide recognition. He gained even more recognition by opening Las Vegas shows for stars like Righteous Brothers, Smokey Robinson, David Copperfield, Sammy Davis, Jr., the Beach Boys and Frank Sinatra. After achieving huge success in the field of stand- up comedy, he decided to conquer Hollywood. His television career started from voice acting in the famous cartoon series “Hulk Hogan’s Rock ‘n Wrestling”. The 6-foot-8 actor also appeared on shows “Family Feud”, “Super Password” and “Hollywood Squares”. Garrett has been nominated for Emmy award six times and has won three times. In 2003 he won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series with his colleagues from “Everybody Loves Raymond”.

Brad Garrett is also a passionate poker player. He was the winner of the fifth season of the “Celebrity Poker Showdown” championship, and played in the World Series of Poker in 2005, 2006 and 2007. In 2009 the championship was not successful for him as he lost the second day. He was taught to play poker by his dad who took him to Vegas when he was only 13. Garrett has joked that he does not use any methods to win the game, he just likes being a part of it. In 1998 Brad Garrett proposed to Jill Diven, and the couple got married on May 18, 1999. They have a son Maxwell Bradley and a daughter Hope Violet. After eight years of marriage, Diven filed for divorce in July 2006 but hey had been separated for a year by then. His wish to start a new long-term relationship after the divorce was documented in a reality TV show “Dating Brad Garrett” which focused on his attempts to find true love by dating women he met on the Internet. In 2008 Garrett started a 24 years younger actress Isaball Quella. The star has admitted that their relationship works on every level.
