American actor, comedian and producer Joseph Anthony ‘Joe’ Gatto was born on Staten Island, New York State USA on 5 June 1976, so Gemini’s his zodiac sign. He was once a member of the comedy troupe The Tenderloins, together with Brian Quinn, James Murray and Sal Vulcano, and is perhaps known best for starring in the hidden camera reality show “Impractical Jokers”.
Joe was raised on Staten Island alongside his two sisters Gina Gatto Tardogno and Carla Gato Sullivan, by their father who died from pancreatic cancer in 1995, and mother Gerry Gatto who passed away on 3 June 2012. Joe studied at Monsignor Farrell High School and was a member of the school’s improv club; upon matriculating in 1994, Joe enrolled at private university LIU Post, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1998.
