Veronica was raised in Lagos, Nigeria by her mother and father about whom she hasn’t talked in public; it’s believed that they’ve both passed away, but this hasn’t been addressed by Veronica. She hasn’t disclosed whether or not she has siblings, but her fans believe that she grew up alongside two brothers.
Veronica studied at a local high school in Lagos and was passionate about sports during her time there; she excelled as a high jumper, while she was also into running track and playing soccer. She gave birth to their first son Francis on 20 October 1988, but Veronica and Giannis soon moved to Greece and left the boy in the care of his grandparents. Veronica gave birth to their four other sons in Athens, Greece – Giannis isn’t the only one who’s succeeded in sports, as Athanasios Rotimi ‘Thanasis’ Antetokounmpo is today also a professional basketball player, currently playing in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Greek-Nigerian professional basketball player Giannis Sina Ugo Antetokounmpo was born under the zodiac sign Sagittarius on 6 December 1994 in Athens, Greece. He’s been nicknamed ‘Greek Freak’ for his strength, speed and size, and is rated one of the best players of all time; he’s today playing for the Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA, together with his brother Thanasis.
It was in 2007, aged 13 that Giannis began playing basketball in Athens; he’s revealed that he had a hard time fitting in because of his parents’ heritage.
