Born Linda Ann Moulton on 20 January 1942, in Boise, Idaho USA, she holds American nationality and her ethnicity is Caucasian. She was raised by her parents alongside her brother.

Upon matriculating from high school in 1960, she enrolled at the University of Colorado, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree cum laude in English literature in 1963.

To earn a scholarship and to continue her education, Linda entered a pageant for Miss Boise in 1963 and went on Miss Idaho pageant, where she won both crown and scholarship. She participated in the Miss America 1964 pageant held in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Speaking of her further education, she studied at Stanford University, Palo Alto, California from which she received her Master’s degree in Communication in 1968. During her time at Stanford, she produced the documentary movie “A Picture Calculus” as part of her Master’s Thesis.

Career

After graduating from Stanford, Linda focused her work on environmental issues, and from 1978 until 1983, she worked as director of Special Projects for KMGH-TV, in Denver, Colorado. One of her earliest works are her documentaries about smog pollution, entitled “Poison in the Wind” and “A Sun Kissed Poison, for which Linda received Colorado’s Florence Sabin Award.

In 1980, she wrote and directed the documentary “A Strange Harvest” about animal mutilation, in which she suggested that unusual wounds found on livestock are the work of aliens, who harvest body parts with the intention to either research or eat them to survive. Her documentary won the Regional Emmy Award for Audio Achievement in 1981.

Linda continued to focus on researching the supposed connection between UFOs and cattle mutilation – one of her theories was that one or more alien intelligences are affecting the Earth. She claimed that she has seen some classified documents thanks to an agent of the government, however, she hasn’t presented any evidence for her claims.

From 1991 until 1997, Linda served as a producer for the documentary series “Sightings”, and since 2010 until the present she’s worked as a consulting producer for the documentary series “Ancient Aliens”, aired on the History Channel.

Linda made a cameo appearance in the 2020 science-fiction comedy “Bird’s Eye View – An ET’s Solution for Humanity”, written and directed by Cybela Clare.

Linda was named ‘guru of ufology’ and ‘most pre-eminent UFO investigator’ but didn’t like these references, as she presents herself as an investigative journalist, and an author – she published her first book “An Alien Harvest” in January 1989, which brought her a New Mexico-Arizona Southwest Book Award.

In 1997, she published her second book, “Glimpses of Other Realities: Facts and Eyewitnesses (Volume I)”, which contains stories about human abduction mysteries, animal mutilation, and Linda’s investigations of worldwide crop circles. In the book are over 300 photos, drawings, documents, and maps that are allegedly shreds of evidence of UFOs, plus alleged eyewitness testimonies. Her third book, “Mysterious Lights and Crop Circles” was published in 2002.

In 2018, Linda released “Glimpses of Other Realities: High Strangeness (Volume II)”, and this book explores the contradictory information about UFOs. In the introduction, Linda states that she once spoke to an intelligence officer about a colonel who was allegedly spending time with an extraterrestrial biological entity (EBE) and that the EBE telepathically explained that our universe is not the only one.

Linda has also published the special edition entitled “An Alien Harvest: Further Evidence Linking Animal Mutilations and Human Abductions to Alien Life For”.
