Early life and education

Craig was raised in San Bernardino County by his parents, about whom nothing’s known, as he respects their privacy; because he hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, he’s believed to be an only child.

He became interested in acting at a very early age, as he would watch movies and TV series with his parents nearly every night. After having noticed his interest, Craig’s mother took him to an audition, and he got to launch his acting career in 1996, with his portrayal of Michael in the episode “Dead of Winter” of the critically acclaimed romantic series “ER”. Created by Michael Crichton, it starred Anthony Edwards and George Clooney, and follows the lives of those working at Chicago’s County General Hospital; the series aired from 1994 to 2009, and won 179 awards, including 23 Primetime Emmys, while it was nominated for 370 other awards.

Craig was still into acting while attending a local elementary school, however, after he enrolled at Rancho Cucamonga High School in 2003, his interest had already somewhat faded. He instead became interested in various other activities, including playing sports and drawing, and Craig eventually got into programming.

He matriculated in 2007, and as he hasn’t spoken of his further education, most people believe that Craig hasn’t attended college. Since 2012, when he made his most recent film appearance, Craig has been working as a designer of wearable art.

Roles in TV series

Craig has appeared in only two TV series, including the above mentioned “ER”. Between 2000 and 2006, he played Stevie Kenarban, in the critically acclaimed family comedy “Malcolm in the Middle”, created by Linwood Boomer, Michael Glouberman and Gary Murphy, and which starred Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston and Justin Berfield.

His following role came in 2011, when he played Book Store Customer, in the comedy “Fred & Vinnie”, directed by Steve Skrovan, and which starred Justin Roiland, Fred Willard and Richard Steven Horvitz. It follows Fred Stoller who’s very happy because his friend Vinnie D’Angelo is moving in with him; the movie won two awards.

The same year, Craig portrayed Lil Ryat, in the comedy “Dance Fu”, which follows a dancer who’s being forced to avenge his uncle’s death.

His only other movie role has been his portrayal of Tyrone MC, in the 2012 musical drama “This Bitter Earth”, written and directed by David Lee Rawlings, and which starred Sahara Ware, Nichelle Nichols and Billy Dee Williams. It follows a great teenage pianist who has given up on the piano because of a family tragedy, but is now trying to return to it.

Although he hasn’t won any roles since 2012, Craig hasn’t officially retired from acting.

He was also nominated for a 2001 National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Award for Outstanding Young Actor/Actress, for his performance in “Malcolm in the Middle”.

Love life and relationships

Craig hasn’t spoken of any girls (or boys) whom he has perhaps been with, which is why there are various rumors circulating the internet concerning both his love life, and his sexual orientation.

Many of his fans believe that he’s gay, and that this is why he’s keeping his love life away from the media’s attention; one of these fans has even claimed to have seen Craig being rather too close to his male friend at a party, and that this friend is perhaps Craig’s boyfriend, however, no evidence has been provided to support these claims, nor has Craig commented on the matter.

There are also those who think that he’s today in a relationship with his long-term girlfriend, but prefers to keep her away from media.

As of September 2021, Craig appears to be single, hasn’t married, and doesn’t have children.

Hobbies and other interests

Craig has uploaded only a single picture onto his Instagram account, and has with it revealed that he’s a fan of tattoos, and has at least three, as these can be seen visible in the picture; he has one on his left arm, another on his stomach, and the third above his chest.

He likes to watch movies late at night, and his favorite actors and actresses are Leonardo DiCaprio, the late Robin Williams, and Amanda Seyfried, while a couple of his favorite films are “Inception”, “Patch Adams” and “Good Will Hunting”.
