Making her acting debut as Manicurist in an episode of the series “Starsky and Hutch” in 1977, Stepfanie launched her career in the entertainment industry. She followed with her guest role as Jill Sommers in an episode of the crime series “The Hardy Boys/ Nancy Drew Mysteries” in 1978.
In the following years, she also guest-starred in popular series including “Married: The First Year” (1979), “Dynasty” (1981), “Knots Landing” (1982), and “High Performance” (1983).

Concurrently, Stepfanie was seen as Annie Sanders in the 1984 series “The A-Team”, and guest-starred in the 1988 TV mini-series “Favorite Son”.
In the following years, Stepfanie was focused on movie roles, although she guest starred in an episode of the series “Moloney” in 1997, followed by another guest role in “Twice in a Lifetime” in 2000.
