Career

Hollywood took a secretarial course shortly after she completed her studies, and successively secured jobs in the public relations department of several firms, such as Nicole Farhi and Loewe clothing brands in London. She also worked as a private dinner party chef, and has been to several European and Middle East countries such as Cyprus, where she worked as a scuba-diving instructor, and France, where she served as a chalet girl in an undisclosed luxury hotel. Hollywood later focused on her career as a chef, and has collaborated with many skilled cooks to develop and create more recipes.

Personal Life

Alexandra and Paul were working in Cyprus when they met in 1996: the former was a headline baker then and the latter worked for a five-star hotel as a scuba-diving trainer. They fell in love in no time, and announced their engagement shortly afterward – they walked the aisle in 1998, and were blessed with a son, Josh Hollywood in 2001. 15 years after their wedding, Alexander discovered that her husband – who was working in the US – was having an affair with his Mexican-American “The American Baking Competition” co-judge, the American Chef Marcela Valladolid, which resulted in the duo splitting, and Alexandra receiving a £1.4 million ($1.56 million) payout. However, the duo reconciled for the sake of their child after Paul made a convincing apology, claiming that he was regretful and that he still loved her very much.

Sadly, the couple split again in late 2017 and their divorce was finalized in mid-2019. Alexandra demanded a £10 million ($11.17 million) payout, but the former couple agreed to sort out their issues outside the court. She seems disheartened by the happenings in her personal life, and during an interview said ‘No one should underestimate how separation and divorce can hit you. I compare it to a moment where you’re driving along the motorway and then the next moment, something beyond your control happens and you’re driving in a completely different direction.’

Shortly after the divorce, Alexandra’s ex-husband had a brief affair with the barmaid, Summer Monteys-Fullam, who is three decades younger than him. They broke up after Summer claimed that Hollywood was overbearing and revealed that he had even asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement about his financial details and sex life. Thereafter, Paul began dating the 17-years-younger pub landlady, Melissa Spalding. They went on a date in Cyprus and were seen vacationing in expensive resorts.

Alexandra is now single and formerly used to reside together with her son in France – she has kept most of her personal details under wraps.
