A musician, producer, and an actor with nearly 30 credits to his name, who’s had an opportunity to work with the top American and Spanish writers, directors and actors since he launched his acting career in 1995, Mario Antonio Cimarro Paz was born under the zodiac sign of Gemini on 1 June 1971, in Havana, Cuba; his nationality is Cuban, and his ethnicity is Latino.

Early life, family, and education
Mario was raised in Havana by his parents Maria Caridad Paz and Antonio Luis Cimarro, alongside his sister Maria Antonia Cimarro Paz. Since Mario prefers to keep information regarding his parents and his sister a secret, he hasn’t disclosed information about their occupations.
Mario dreamed of becoming a famous actor from an early age,, and was determined to succeed. While he was a teenager, he watched television with his parents and sister, and he saw the famous telenovela actor Eduardo Palomo in the series “Corazon Salvaje”, who became his idol – and the one thing Mario especially liked about Eduardo was his haircut, which later became Mario’s trademark.
Mario attended a local high school, and upon matriculating in 1989, enrolled at the Centro de Educacion Artistica Televisa (Artistic Education Center) in Mexico City, from which he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Acting in 1993.

Mario made his acting debut in the series “Acapulco, Cuerpo y Alma” in 1995, followed by his role as Ramiro in “Sentimientos Ajenos” in 1996, and then, in the following years he made an appearance in “Gente Bien” before his role as Luciano Alcantara in the popular telenovela “La Usurpadora”, also starring Gabriela Spanic, Fernando Colunga and Libertad Lamarque in 1998.

Mario starred in “La Mujer de Mi Vida” before 2000, when he was cast to play Roberto Villareal in “The Beach House”, followed by his role as Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Domeq in “Latin Love”, and in the following year, Mario portrayed Santiago Guerrero in “Mas Que Amor, Frenesi”.
In 2002, he was seen as Luis Armando Arismendi in “Gata Salvaje”, which is one of his most notable roles, and the series was nominated for INTE Award Soap of the Year (Contenidos: Telenovela del año), which is considered the most important award for Spanish language television series.

After he broke up with Vanessa, Mario was in a relationship with Zuria Vega, also a Mexican actress, however, this love story didn’t last long.
In 2018, Mario started dating Bronislava Gregušova, a 30-years-old Slovakian model, who was a finalist in the 2015 Miss Slovakia beauty pageant – their relationship became publicly known in March 2019, when Mario shared their joint photo of a motorcycle trip to Nevada, USA.
