Who is Kristin Lehman?

Canadian actress, movie producer and director Kristin Lehman, was born in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, on 3 May 1972, meaning that her zodiac sign’s Taurus. She’s had roles in nearly 70 movies and TV series, and is perhaps still best known for her playing of Shirah in the 2004 action science fiction adventure movie “The Chronicles of Riddick”, directed by David Twohy, and which starred Vin Diesel, Judi Dench and Colm Feore. It follows wanted criminal Richard Bruno Riddick who’s found himself on the planet Helion Prime, and now stands against the Necromongers, an invading empire which wants to kill all humans; the movie was nominated for five awards.

Education and early life

Kristin was raised in New Westminster by her parents who prefer to maintain their privacy, and thus not a lot about them is known; Kristin hasn’t spoken of having siblings, but it’s believed that she has an older sister.

She became interested in dancing at the age of nine, and went on to practice classical ballet for eight years at the Royal Academy of Dance in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Kristin matriculated in 1990 and then enrolled at college; it was during her college years that she fell in love with acting, and not long after she graduated in 1994, she moved to Los Angeles, California and began working on her way up in the film industry.

Kristin made her debut TV series appearance in the 1995 episode “Off Broadway: Part 1” of the crime comedy “The Commish”, and she gained recognition in the same year, when cast to play Urs in the crime mystery “Forever Knight”, created by Barney Cohen and James D. Kristin’s also known for her playing of Gwen Eaton in the 2012 crime mystery “The Killing”, which Veena Sud created, and which starred Billy Campbell, Joel Kinnaman and Mireille Enos. Her following notable performance was her playing of Mary Alice Wells in the 2012 comedy drama “Arthur Newman”, directed by Dante Ariola, and which starred Colin Firth, Emily Blunt and Anne Heche. It follows a man who’s faked his own death and has assumed a new identity – the movie was nominated for a Torino Film Festival Award for Best Feature Film.

Kristin’s since appeared in only three movies: the 2014 romantic mystery thriller “The Loft”, the 2017 short drama “Reel Women Seen”, and the 2019 drama “Lie Exposed”.

In 2010, Kristin gave birth to their son Sam Reid – they’re keeping the boy away from media.
