Early life and education
Abigail was raised in Chicago by her parents Diana and Robert Gustafson, with her sister whose name she hasn’t disclosed. She prefers to keep information regarding her private life a secret, so there isn’t much known about her family and her childhood. Abigail also hasn’t disclosed when and why she changed her professional surname to Hawk.
She attended North Springs Charter School of Arts and Sciences, and upon matriculating in 2003, enrolled at the University of Maryland, College Park, from which she graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts.

Abigail made her first appearance on the big screen in 2008, portraying Sara in “The Unidentified” alongside Jay Sullivan, Erin Ecklund and Lauren Shannon, followed by her role as Maria Macabre in the short movie “The Tragedy of Maria Macabre”, written and directed by Rachel Klein.
In the following years, she was cast to play Ellie in “Almost Paris”, which brought her a nomination for the Beaufort International Film Festival, US Award Best Actress, and Hill Country Film Festival, US Award Best Actress in 2017. She then made an appearance as Riley Thomas in the TV movie “A Christmas in Vermont”, alongside David O’Donnell and Chevy Chase.

However, it’s known that Bryan worked at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery in New York City, before he started his service as a medic at the Fire Department City of New York.
