Who is Valter Skarsgård?
Valter Skarsgård was born in Stockholm, Sweden, on 25 October 1995 – his zodiac sign is Scorpio, and he holds Swedish nationality. He’s an actor with 18 credits to his name, while he’s perhaps known best for his portrayal of the supporting character Bård Guldvik ‘Faust’ Eithun, in the 2018 biographical horror movie “Lords of Chaos”, written and directed by Jonas Åkerlund, and which starred Rory Culkin, Emory Cohen and Jack Kilmer. Early life and education
Valter was raised alongside his five siblings and two half-siblings, by their father Stellan Åkerlund, a famous Swedish actor, and his mother My Åkerlund, who’s a physician.
He became interested in acting mostly because he looked up to his father, and occasionally watched his movies on TV. After having spoken to Stellan about it, he was cast to portray The Child in the 2003 short movie drama “Att Döda ett Barn”, thus launching his acting career. Valter continued acting throughout his entire education; he studied at S:t Eriks gymnasium, and upon matriculating in 2014, he chose not to pursue a college degree, but to focus on acting.

In 2003, Valter played Young Daniel in the drama “Detaljer”, and his following role came in 2008, when he portrayed Jon, in the popular romantic action drama “Arn: The Kingdom at the End of the Road”, directed by Peter Flinth, and which starred his father Stellan, Sofia Helin and Joakim Nätterqvist. The film follows the Knight Arn who has embarked on his final mission, after which he can go home and marry Cecilia; the movie won one of the two awards for which it was nominated.
In 2013, Valter was cast to play Elias, in the drama “IRL (In Real Life)”, and the following year saw him play Thorulf, in the biographical drama “Die Frauen der Wikinger – Odins Töchter”, which follows the lives of Viking Women.

Valter made his debut TV series appearance in 2010, with his portrayal of Jon in two episodes of the romantic action drama “Arn”, and he gained recognition in 2012, when he starred as Igor in the drama “Portkod 1321”; it also starred Fanny Klefelt and Happy Jankell, and follows Agnes and Steph who are attending the same high school, and although they don’t like each other, they have to start getting along now that their parents are dating.
In 2017, Valter made a guest appearance in an episode of the comedy “Småstaden”, and between 2016 and 2018, he played the main character Lippi in the popular horror thriller “Black Lake”.
The year 2020 saw him play Micke, in two episodes of the romantic crime drama “The Sandhamn Murders”, and in the same year, Valter starred as Björn in the mystery science fiction drama “Katla”.
