Thomas Weeks was born in Dallas, Texas, USA. He is a reality television star, businessman, and car enthusiast, best known for being part of the Discovery Channel show “Misfit Garage”. He’s been buying and selling cars for many years. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

Thomas was very interested in cars at a young age and often watched his father go to work as a mechanic. When he was 12 years old, use the money he had to buy an old 1956 Chevy. He learned how to fix cars and eventually sold it for a profit. He learned about cars and how to fix them thanks to his father. He found a passion for cars, but really enjoyed the buying and selling part of the business. At the age of 15, he was given a 1955 Chevy truck by his father thanks to his skills in fixing its engine. The following year, he realized he wanted to fly and decided to get a pilot’s license instead of a driver’s license. After matriculating from high school, he went on to study a degree in aviation and science but learned that he was legally colorblind.

Disappointed, he went back to cars and then tried his hand at stock car racing. He was getting a significant amount of success and made some money during this period. Not wanting to be an employee, he then started his own business that was a machine shop focused on building engines. They also did drive-in claims and painted cars. Eventually, he decided to sell the business and go back to buying/selling cars.

He would then partner with Tom Smith, Scott McMillan, and Jordan Miller to create Fired Up Garage. They were eventually picked up by Discovery channel for the show “Misfit Garage” which is a spin-off of “Fast N’ Loud”.

“Misfit Garage” features Tom Smith and Jordan Butler who were previously from “Fast N’ Loud”. They work with Thomas Weeks and Scot McMillan, together creating Fired Up Garage. The first season premiered in 2014 and it is still ongoing with a third season airing in 2016.

For his personal life it is known that Weeks believes the best investment is a car thanks to the ever dynamic industry. One of the things he likes about buying and selling is that he never knows what car he’ll find. When he was a toddler, he had an accident while his father was fixing a car and was rushed to the hospital. He also collects hot rod magazines. Aside from these, his father also served in the military.
