Vaughn Evelyn Levesque

Vaughn Evelyn Levesque was born on 24th August 2010 in Greenwich, Connecticut, USA, and is known for her celebrity parents: the retired professional wrestler Paul Michael ‘Triple H’ Levesque and his wife Stephanie McMahon, who just happens to be the daughter of the owner of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Vaughn’s two older sisters are Aurora Rosa and Murphy Claire, who were born on 24th July 2006 and 28th July 2008 respectively. Despite their young ages, the three siblings are said to be interested in wrestling and showbiz, which is fitting: Stephanie herself began modeling WWE merchandise when she was just 13 years old.

Stephanie is a proud mother who often discusses her daughters in the press, and in a 2016 interview with The Straits Times she revealed that she and Vaughn liked to hold pretend wrestling matches at home. ‘She made me announce her entrance, entering to Katy Perry’s new song… She completely understands it all,’ the TV personality gushed.

Vaughn doesn’t have any social media accounts that we’re aware of, but she has featured frequently on Paul and Stephanie’s Instagram profiles over the years. According to online biographies, the adolescent attends a private high school in Connecticut and is a well-round student who displays academic and athletic prowess alike.

As for Vaughn’s sisters, they are equally private, with a virtually nonexistent digital footprint. As Aurora will be turning 18 this year, it’s possible that she’ll begin easing her way into the entertainment industry with a role within WWE.

Paul Levesque

Paul Levesque was born on 27th July 1969 and is regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers in history. Despite having retired from the sport, he continues to work for the WWE as its chief content officer and head of the creative department.

The media personality was born and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire, and launched his wrestling career when he was just 23 years old. Going by the ring name Terra Ryzing, Paul started off with the International Wrestling Federation (IWF) and switched over to World Championship Wrestling (WCW) two years later. The WCW soon began advertising him as a French-Canadian aristocrat named Jean-Paul Lévesque.

After signing to the World Wrestling Federation (now known as WWE) in 1995, Paul once again changed his ring name to Hunter Hearst Helmsley, which was later shortened to Triple H. Known for co-founding the D-Generation X stable and being a member of The Kliq, Paul’s wrestling career went from strength to strength, and he was soon considered an integral part of the WWF.

Apart from winning his first WWF Championship in 1999, Paul has a number of accolades to his name such as being a five-time Intercontinental Champion, a two-time European Champion, and a 14-time world champion. Later in his career, the New Hampshire native was praised for his business acumen and the behind-the-scenes work he had done for the WWE, such as the creation of its developmental branch NXT.

Prior to dating Stephanie, Paul was in a four-year relationship with fellow wrestler Joan Laurer. After they broke up, Paul and Stephanie began ‘dating’ and were even declared husband and wife in front of millions of viewers – all for the sake of a juicy WWE storyline. When the couple announced that they were dating in real life, some detractors doubted that the relationship would last. Nevertheless, they proved naysayers wrong after tying the knot in October 2003.

Paul sparked health concerns in September 2021 when it was reported that he ‘d been hospitalized following a ‘cardiac event’ caused by a genetic heart issue. In March 2022, the wrestler gave his first interview since being hospitalized, during which he revealed that he had inflamed lungs and viral pneumonia that had worsened over time.

According to Paul, doctors discovered fluid in his lungs and around his heart, and the health scare shocked him so badly that he retired from the ring and even feared that he would die. ‘I will never wrestle again,’ he confirmed. ‘First of all, I have a defibrillator in my chest, which, you know, probably not a good idea for me to get zapped on live TV.’

Stephanie McMahon

As for Paul’s wife, Stephanie was born on 24th September 1976 in Hartford, Connecticut, and is a fourth-generation wrestling promoter. As mentioned, the daughter of Vince and Linda McMahon started working for WWE at 13 years old; in 1999, she began making regular on-air appearances for the company and was involved,, in several storylines.

Although Stephanie continued to work for WWE during her first pregnancy, she went on hiatus after welcoming Aurora to the world, and only returned to the show in 2008 following the birth of her second daughter. In April 2018, the brunette officially moved on from in-ring wrestling matches to focus on her executive roles within the company.

Stephanie is obviously an influential figure in the WWE world, both on- and off-screen. Her first behind-the-scenes job was as an account executive for WWF; she was later promoted to head writer and director of creative writing, and once again to senior vice-president of creative writing. From 2013 to 2022, the Connecticut native was the chief brand officer of the company, a position which she left after being named the co-CEO and chairwoman of WWE when her father retired.

In January 2023, Stephanie sensationally resigned from WWE as her father returned to the company. As it happens, Vince had originally stepped down as CEO when an investigation revealed that he’d paid four women millions of dollars each to quiet claims of sexual misconduct. ‘WWE is in such a strong position, that I’ve decided to return to my leave and take it one step further with my official resignation,’ Stephanie explained to her followers in an online statement, adding: ‘I will always remain dedicated to WWE. I truly love our company, our employees, our Superstars, and our fans.’

Just a year later, Vince’s future in WWE is once again up in the air after he was recently accused of abuse, sexual assault, and trafficking in a lawsuit filed by a former employee. According to the employee, she was fired from the company after Vince’s wife found out about their relationship, and subsequently pressured into signing a non-disclosure agreement that would prevent her from talking about the sexual misconduct – which allegedly included her being forced to ‘sleep’ with Vince and other high-ranking company members during office hours.

Although a spokesperson for Vince has vehemently denied the explosive allegations, it’s not looking good for the WWE founder. As for Stephanie and Paul, they’ve yet to comment on the lawsuit.
