Kross is an American-born celebrity kid, who is widely known as the son of the late legendary rapper, activist and entrepreneur, Nipsey Hussle.

Age, Early Life, and Education Background

Kross Ermias Asghedom hails from Los Angeles, California, and was born under the Virgo zodiac sign on 31 August 2016, which makes him seven years old as of 2023. Little Kross is of Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry, born to the aforementioned late rapper, Nipsey Hussle and the American actress, Lauren Nicole London, and is the younger half-brother of Emani Asghedom, who was born from Nipsey’s relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Tanisha Foster, on 9 November 2008 (15 years old). Kross has an older step-brother named Kameron Carter (born on 9 September 2009), who was born from his mother’s previous relationship with the American singer and rapper, Lil Wayne (real name: Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.). Asghedom was two and a half years old when his dad was fatally shot in a parking lot.

Kross’ educational background remains hidden. He’s probably being homeschooled.

Career

Kross is still very young, and hasn’t yet chosen his career path.

Personal Life

Kross is too young to be in a romantic relationship, and is under the care of his mother. His mom has remained very private about him, and hasn’t opened any social media accounts for him – she rarely posts his pictures on her social media accounts.

Asghedom’s parents were never legally married; it’s reported that they first met when his mother, London, went to buy Nipsey’s mixtape in person. They soon afterwards began following each other on social media, and their friendship eventually blossomed into a romantic affair. At the time of their meeting, London was in a relationship, but Nipsey still went on to ask her out. It’s not clear when Nipsey and London began dating – however, the duo is reported to have dated for at least five years before Nipsey’s death.

Kross Asghedom’s Father’s Death

Kross’ father was fatally shot by a rival with whom he’d previously got into an argument, at his merchandise store, Marathon Clothing Shop, in south-central Los Angeles on 31 March 2019. He died aged 33 years old, and was laid to rest at the Los Angeles Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills Cemetery on 12 April 2019. After investigations, the authorities arrested and later indicted a man named Eric Ronald Holder Jr. for Nipsey’s murder. In 2022, the jury found the suspect guilty of murder, a count of illegal possession of a firearm, two counts of aggravated assault with a lethal weapon, and two counts of attempted manslaughter, and in February of that year he was ultimately sentenced to six decades in prison. Nipsey was posthumously honored with a star at 6212 Hollywood Walk of Fame on 15 August 2022.

Shortly after Nipsey died, his sister, Samantha filed for full custody of his only daughter, Emani, without the knowledge of her mother, Foster, and her family. This resulted in a long court battle but Nipsey’s family was eventually granted full custody of the girl, who was to inherit around $1 million from her dad’s estate.

On behalf of Kross, his mom, London received 50% of the cash and other assets and an additional $113,000 ‘to offset the payments made for Emani’s education, health, and other matters.’ On the other hand, Hussle’s brother, Samiel Asghedom (also known as Blacc Sam), and his family, who previously received Emani’s guardianship, were awarded 50% of the late rapper’s estate on his daughter’s behalf. The non-cash assets in question include 100% interest in Marathon Studios, The Marathon Touring, The Marathon Clothing Inc., and 100% membership interest in the record label All Money In, and a 2012 Chevy Suburban, all of which were valued at $11 million.
