Stevie J Net Worth $5 Million

Stevie J has been one of the leaders in the Bad Boy Records company, which has obviously helped him to accumulate considerable assets towards building his net worth. Stevie J has contributed to the production of many Bad Boys albums, including the first album of “112”. Dealing with “112” was Stevie`s beginning in the music industry.

Stevie J has steadily increased his net worth by producing songs like “Only You” along with Notorious B.I.G., “You`re Nobody”, “Notorious Thugs”, “Last Day”, “Nasty Boy”, and “Mo Money Mo Problems”. Stevie J’s net worth was boosted even more when he produced “I`ll Be Missing You”, a single still popular nowadays, together with Puff Daddy. It is claimed that it was probably Notorious B.I.G. that encouraged Stevie J to focus on hip hop music production.

Stevie J has not only worked with Bad Boys. He has also helped to produce singles for such celebrities as Mariah Carey, Beyonce Knowles, and Lil Wayne. Stevie J also contributed to the production of Mariah Carey`s album “Butterfly” (1997); he promoted the release of such singles as “Babydoll”, “Breakdown”, and “Honey”, which earned Stevie J one Grammy Award. Beyonce Knowles`s “Summertime” and Jay-Z`s “Lucky Me” and “Ride or Die” also benefited from the contribution of Stevie J.  Stevie J also helped to produce some songs by Tevin Campbell, Tamia and Deborah Cox. There are no doubts that working with world class celebrities has helped Stevie J both to gain fame and to add a solid sum of money to his net worth.

Stevie J has also appeared on television, in particular on the American spin-off “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”, which started in 2012, and was aired on VH1, which told the stories of women who were somehow related to hip hop. This position also helped Stevie J to save up some money and, hence, to make his net worth way bigger. Stevie J is not only rich, but his wealth comes from his talent which is proven by three Grammy Awards.

As regards Stevie`s personal life, he is married to the rapper from Puerto Rico, Joseline Hernandez. Before plunging into the relationship with Joseline, Stevie was living for 15 years with Mimi Faust, with whom he has two children, and also fathered children with Rhonda Henderson, Felicia Stover, and two with Carol Antoinette Bennett. Perhaps unsurprisingly, in 2014 Stevie was arrested for non-payment of child-support payments totaling over a million dollars.
