Notorious B.I.G. Net Worth $160 Million

Born Christopher George Latore Wallace on May 21, 1972, in New York city, Christopher was raised in the Clinton Hill section in Brooklyn. He is the only one child of his parents who are Jamaican descents, but actually he was raised only by mother as father left the family when Christopher was 2 years old. His youth wasn’t something like innocent or average – Biggie Smalls was selling drugs in school and was even requested to be transferred to the another school, and that’s how he started to attend George Westinghouse Career. However, later he dropped school and was involved in criminal life. Biggie Smalls was arrested in year 1989 due to weapon charges. Two years later he was arrested again, this time because of crack cocaine. And that’s how he ended up in jail for nine months. However, later B. I. G. was able to continue increase his net worth as a rapper – he started rapping career at the teenage years. So Christopher Wallace recorded and released his first album, called “Ready to Die” in year 1994 together with Sean Combs and Mase. That’s how he became one of the best known rappers in the East Hip Hop scene and that album increased Biggie Small’s net worth.

Who knows, maybe B.I.G.’s net worth would be build up even more, but he was killed by unknown assassin on March 9, 1997 in a drive-by shooting. Maybe that was a reason why his second album titled “Life After Death” became number 1 on the U.S. album charts just a few days later. This album was certified Diamond in year 2000 – it is one of the several hip hop albums which have ever received a certification like this one. After the death of Christopher George Latore Wallace two more his albums were released. For his fans of Biggie Small he is an example of a man who was able to increase his earnings thanks to his easy, flowing rapping and dark, depressing lyrics in his songs, maybe taken from his own life. And the amount of BIG’s net worth just confirms that he was one of the richest rappers of all time.

Before his death in 1997 Christopher was nominated for Grammy Awards 4 times, but didn’t win it at least once. However, he twice won Billboard Music Awards nomination, once MTV Video Music Awards and Soul Train Music Awards. So now you know how rich is The Notorious B. I. G.
