Callie Rivers is an American-born former volleyball player, who’s widely known as the wife of the National Basketball Association (NBA) player Seth Curry, and daughter of the renowned former professional basketball player and coach of the NBA team, Philadelphia 76ers Doc Rivers, and his wife Kristen.

Callie Marie Rivers hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and was born under the Virgo zodiac sign on 17 September 1989, which makes her 34 years old as of early 2023. Before matriculating to the University of Florida, she competed in the US Junior Olympic Volleyball tournament with the US Junior National A2 squad. When she was a first-year student, the Atlanta native joined the Florida Gators volleyball team, and went on to record the fourth-highest kill per game average, and fifth-highest points per game average.
After her graduation, Rivers signed with Leonas de Ponce, but retired from volleyball after playing for one year, but the game is still something Callie has in common with her partner’s family. Her sister-in-law, Sydel Curry-Lee, has played for the Elon University Volleyball team. Moreover, her husband’s mother, Sonya Curry, played volleyball for Virginia Tech.

After quitting volleyball, Callie began a career in modeling. She’s posed for the swimsuit brand Kiwi Plum, which was created by Mariah Woodson, who’s the daughter of the American basketball coach, Mike Woodson.
Callie co-hosted the podcast “Bachelor Party” with the American journalist Juliet Litman, who is currently serving as the Head of Productions for the pop culture and sports website, The Ringer. In the podcast, the duo analyzes various reality shows such as “The Bachelorette,” “The Bachelor,” and “Bachelor in Paradise.” In March 2022, Callie discussed her husband’s career and analyzed the reality show “The Bachelor” in “The Bill Simmons Podcast”.

Seth Adham Curry is one of the sons of the retired NBA player Dell Curry and his wife, the former Virginia Tech volleyball player Sonya Alicia Curry, who was born on 23 August 1990 (33 years old) in Charlotte, North Carolina. His father sparked Seth’s interest in basketball, when he used to take him and his brother, the future Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry, to watch his games. He played basketball for the Knights when he joined Charlotte Christian School. In 2008, he matriculated to Liberty University, then transferred to Duke University in 2010, where he continued playing basketball.
