Three years later, Sean was seen as Spy Jogger in the short movie “Mature Young Adults”, a comedy-drama, also starring Landon Norris and Olivia Scriven, which although having no nominations, received a high rating (8.6/10).

Sean was next cast to play Taro in the 2016 drama “Happy Baby”, based on the novel of the same title by Stephen Elliot, who also directed this movie.

Two years later, he made his first television appearance as Grieving Male Student #1 in an episode of the popular crime drama series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, followed by his first notable role as Kevin in two episodes of the series “Manifest”, also in 2018. The plot of the show revolves around a commercial airliner that mysteriously reappears after being absent for five years. As people on the craft reintegrate into society, they hear guiding voices and see glimpses of future events, and a larger mystery emerges. The series, starring Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxenburg, and J. R. Ramirez, had four award nominations, and won ReFrame Stamp for IMDbPro Top 200 Most Popular TV Titles 2020-2021.

Sean was next seen as a Teenager in an episode of the series “FBI: Most Wanted” in 2021, followed by his most significant role to date, as Steven in “The Summer I Turned Pretty” in 2022. His co-stars are Lola Tung, Rachel Blanchard, and Jackie Chung, and as mentioned, this is a love story about three young people, their first heartbreaks, and the magic of summer. Sean was seen in all seven episodes, and the fans of the series were thrilled to hear that the series is renewed for a second season.

Although many assumed that this show will be another ‘Gen Z kind of show’, the audience was surprised by a realistic portrayal of modern youth, good acting, and the story that keeps them entertained. The series is based on the New York Times bestseller of the same title by Jenny Han.
