Rasheeda Buckner-Frost was born on 25 May 1982, in Atlanta, Georgia, and known to fans simply as Rasheeda – a noted American rap artist, author, television personality, as well as a fashion designer, but is perhaps best known for her solo singing career, spanning over 20 years.

So just how rich is Rasheeda, as of early 2017? Authoritative sources estimate that Rasheeda’s net worth is over $600 000, the majority coming from her rapping career, but from her other activities as well.

Rasheeda’s rapping career started as a teenager, when she created a hip hop group called “Da Kaperz” with two of her friends. The group landed a record deal with the “D-Lo Entertainment” label – to which she is still signed – however, Rasheeda spent only a year with the group before launching her solo career. Eventually, Rasheeda debuted with the album “Dirty South”, released by “D-Lo Entertainment” and “Motown Records”, which reached #77 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums and spawned three singles, including “Do It” which peaked at #3 on the Billboard chart. This was followed by the release of “A Ghetto Dream”, however, the album failed to land a spot on the music charts. In 2006, Rasheeda released her third studio album called “GA Peach”, which did better on the market than its predecessor, as it managed to peak at #81 on the Billboard 200 chart, and  “Georgia Peach” released as a single climbed to #89 on the US R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart.

Rasheeda has collaborated with other artists on various projects too, and was even featured on Nivea’s second studio album called “Complicated”. More recently, in 2012 Rasheeda came out with her second independent album –  entitled “Boss Chick Music” – which peaked at #68 on the charts and produced two singles. Currently, as well as releasing solo works, Rasheeda makes music with the R&B group “Peach Candy”, with Kandi Burruss.

In addition to music, Rasheeda and her husband Kirk Frost appeared in the 2012 reality TV series called “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”, with Rasheeda featuring in the main cast alongside Karlie ReddK.Michelle and Erica Dixon, which has now been on air for five seasons.

Aside from entertainment, Rasheeda is also managing a website called “I’m Bossy”, which sells various accessories, clothes and cosmetic products, no doubt producing extra income.

In her less-than-private personal life – courtesy of exposure on reality TV – Rasheeda married Kirk Frost in 1999, and they have two sons.
