Precious Paris Net Worth $300,000
Paris grew up in a rough neighborhood on the south side of Jamaica, Queens along with her two siblings. Her childhood years weren’t an easy time as she grew up in a fractured family; her mother was an alcoholic, her older sister was killed, while her older brother fell victim to drug abuse. When she was 15 years old, she and her mother were evicted from their home, so at 16 she began living on her own. Fortunately, Paris had one source of stability and that was her grandfather, a former cop, who helped her to avoid falling like the rest of her family.
Paris started to write lyrics at an early age being influenced by such female musicians as Lauren Hill, Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown, and eventually began ghostwriting for various pretentious artists. She started her music career as an MC, performing her compositions for her friends. She later began collaborating with producers Midi Mafia and Dangerous LLC, and in 2010 released her first demo with Midi Mafia/Family Ties. Her mixtape led her to meet Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, who was so impressed with Paris’ talent that he offered her a deal with his label G-Unit Records, which was her big break, as Paris was the only woman to sign with 50 Cent’s record label. Since then she has been performing with the rapper at various shows, and featured on 50 Cents’ song “Queens”, with the song’s video being viewed more than two million times on YouTube. Her involvement with the rap mogul has enabled Paris to become a recognized figure in the hip hop music industry, and greatly contributed to her net worth.
In 2012 she released her official debut mixtape under the G-Unit, label called “From Paris With Love”. The 11-track tape is hosted by DJ Whoo Kid and features 50 Cent, Tawnee, Kidd Kidd and other artists, with production by Rockwilder, Havoc, M-Phaze and T-Minus. It has become highly popular and has significantly improved Paris’ wealth.
As a rising star, Paris appeared on VH-1’s reality television show called “Black Ink” in 2014, visiting the tattoo parlor to get inked by reality star Dutchess Lattimore. Various magazines have written about Paris, such as All Hip Hop, Vibe, DJ Booth.net, Hip Hop Weekly, XXL and other. She also appeared on the cover of Smooth magazine.
In 2015 Paris joined the cast of VH1’s reality television series ““Love and Hip Hop New York”, which portrays the lives of a group of women involved in hip hop music scene; it has run for six seasons so far and has become highly popular among audiences. Paris joined the cast during the show’s fifth season, and it has enabled Paris to promote her talent and has also added to her wealth.
Currently, Paris is working with Rich Dollaz’ Dollaz Unlimited label.
When it comes to her private life, Paris hasn’t married yet; sources believe that she is unattached at present.
