Noah Gray-Cabey was born on 16 November 1995, in Chicago, Illinois USA, to Whitney Gray and Shawn Cabey. Details about his parents’ occupations and lives are unknown, however, it’s been revealed that they founded a non-profit organization – Action in Music (A.I.M) – to help orphanages and children in need, allowing young artists to travel the world and perform at various concerts. The money raised from selling the tickets was directed toward helping the less fortunate. It was also a notable experience for young musicians who wanted to practice their skills.

Noah has two brothers, Nick and Zack, and a sister Bryanna. Their family moved to Whitney’s hometown in Newry, Maine USA, when the actor was still a toddler. He started playing the piano at a very young age, at first on toy keyboards, but as his interest in piano grew, he started playing real keyboards.

Noah commenced his musical journey at the age of four, when he started appearing in venues throughout New England and Washington. He played classical piano professionally as a member of the New England Symphonic Ensemble, and had his first tour in Jamaica when he was still a child. At the age of five, Noah continued his tour to Australia, to perform with the orchestra at the Sydney Opera House, the youngest soloist to perform atvenue, and the Queensland Conservatory, and the International Convention in Brisbane.
As part of his successful musical career, Noah recorded a CD with his family for the A.I.M., which included Noah’s earlier performances when he played Haydn, Vivaldi and Bach – the piano he played was adjusted by his father, because the young musician couldn’t reach the pedals. He appeared in several TV shows as a pianist; he was in the 12th episode of the fourth season of the show “Ripley’s Believe It or Not”, in which they told his story, including how he became a concert pianist at the age of seven. According to sources, Noah’s acting journey began shortly after he appeared in “The Oprah Winfrey Show”, spotted by the casting director of the TV series “My Wife and Kids”. He was cast for the role of Franklin Mumford in 2002, and had a recurrent role in the beginning, later on becoming a part of the main cast, and eventually appearing in 58 episodes from season four through season five. The young actor was part of the TV series ’til 2005.
In 2004, he appeared in an episode of “CSI: Miami”, in which he played the role of Stevie Valdez. In 2006, he portrayed Shawn Beglight in an episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” and Jameel Fisher in “Ghost Whisperer”.
