Doug Hutchison Net Worth $3 Million

So how rich is Doug Hutchison? Sources estimate his current net worth to be $3 million. Most, if not all of his net worth has been accumulated from his work as an actor in television and films.

Doug Hutchison’s parents moved the family to Minnesota, and he attended Apple Valley High School and then Bishop Foley High School in Madison Heights, Michigan. He later studied at the University of Minnesota, and at The Juilliard School in New York City.

Doug Hutchison’s career as an actor began in the theatre in the mid-1980s – he played parts in “Julius Caesar”, “Sing Me through an Open Window” and “Equus”. The beginning of his television career is marked with his appearances as a guest actor in “The X-Files”, “Space: Above and Beyond”, “Millennium” and “Party of Five”. In 1988 Doug made his film debut in “Fresh Horses”, and later on the same year in “The Chocolate War”. Between 1992 and 2002, he appeared in numerous films such as “The Green Mile”, “A Time To Kill”, “Batman & Robin”, “The Salton Sea” and “No Good Deed”, which helped to raise his overall net worth and popularity.

However, after 2002, Doug became less active as an actor, focusing more on production and short films. Hutchinson is a director of the TV show “Vampire Killers” about vampire hunters. While he didn’t appear in many movies and television shows at that time, his work on other projects contributed to his net worth. In 2007, he appeared on the big screens again as JT Montgomery in “Moola” and has since played supporting roles in a few other titles. While there are not that many TV show titles on Doug Hutchison’s list, they are all well-known and successful ones, such as “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” (2002), “CSI: Miami” (2004), “Lost” (2007), “24” (2010) and “Lie to Me” (2011). During his career, Doug has been nominated for only one award – Satellite award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “The Green Mile” in 1999.

In his personal life, Doug Hutchinson has been married three times and his last marriage was the one that caused a strong reaction in the media. Doug’s first wife was Kathleen Davison(1999–2002) and second Amanda Sellers(2003–05), before he married musician Courtney Stodden in 2011 who was his student and at that time was only 16 years old (Hutchinson was 51). Their whole relationship has been very public – in 2012 the couple starred in a reality TV show “Couples Therapy”. Apparently, these public therapy sessions didn’t help much as the couple considered divorcing in 2013, but are still together and are even planning to renew the wedding vows soon. Interestingly, the scandalous intricacies of his relationship might have been beneficial to Doug’s net worth and popularity.
