Michelle Annette Ruark was born on 13 September 1966, in Tontitown, Arkansas USA, and is a reality television personality, best known for being part of the TLC show “19 Kids and Counting”. As the title suggests, the show has been popular because of how Michelle and her husband Jim Bob are able to raise 19 children. All of her endeavors have definitely helped put her net worth to where it is today.

The show features the family and their (now) 19 children, 10 of whom are boys. All of their kids start with the letter J, with three of them now married with their own children. During the peak of the show they were averaging 2.3 million viewers per episode. The Duggar family lifestyle showcased them being devout Baptists, and in particular avoiding birth control so that God would determine the number of children they have. They have strict rules in their house, with the children being home-schooled and their entertainment regulated. The children also have to go through chaperoned courtship to get into relationships.

There were many significant events that happened during the run of the television show, including Michelle giving birth to three of their children. They’ve also collaborated with various institutions including the Family Research Council. Their grandchildren were also featured in the show as well, following depictions of how some of their children engaged in their formal courtships.

After one issue, their eldest son Josh publicly apologized for molesting girls, so the show was cancelled and did not resume production. According to reports, two of his sisters stepped up to declare themselves victims of the eldest son Josh, and he also admitted to infidelity as well as pornographic addiction. He is currently undergoing rehab at an undisclosed location.

Aside from the show, Michelle has written two books along with her husband, entitled “The Duggars: 20 and Counting!” and “A Love That Multiplies”. Their four oldest daughters have also written a book.

For her personal life, it is known that Michelle married Jim Duggar in July 1984. They supported Mike Huckabee’s 2008 Republican presidential nomination and then endorsed Rick Santorum in 2012. They also supported Ken Cuccinelli in 2013. Aside from these, Michelle has a real estate license, and they live in a 7,000 square foot home which was heavily featured in “19 Kids and Counting” series. Most recently, she was also supposed to have a 20th child, but miscarried.
