In late 1996, her husband Michael established MJM International, a company that focuses on women’s underwear, and the duo designed the Ultimo bra. Having done that, she established a partnership with Sri-Lankan company MAS Holdings. In the forthcoming year, Michelle established UTan & Tone, a fake tan company. She made an appearance on ‘’ The Great British Break-Up? The Live Debate’’ in 2014 and ‘’Pointless Celebrities’’ in the following year. As of the most recent past, Mone was a guest star in ‘’The Pledge’’ and ‘’Good Morning Britain’’.

She is active in politics as of today, having been elevated to a peerage and then the House of Lords in 2015 by The Queen, as a result of her contribution to business.

In her personal life, She has three children with her ex-husband Michael who she married in 1989 – their first daughter, Rebecca, was born when Michelle was 18 years old. Subsequently, she converted to Roman Catholicism.
